Georgia's Own Credit Union Bond St, Cumming

This credit union sets the bar for customer service. Specifically Ben is the “Chick-Fil-A” service rep of credit unions. Recently GA’s Own replaced our credit cards with the touch free cards which I love. However when I went to print my statements for tax purposes, they weren’t transferred over yet. I called card services and they said they could mail them but it would be 7-10 days. Ugggg the tax deadline was the next day. (Cause that’s how I roll ;) lol) Ben worked all day calling someone, going back and forth with them on the phone and was able to print all 12 months for me. That’s not all. Every 2-3 hours he would call me to give me an update. THAT is going above and beyond! Not to mention he didn’t have to get involved at all. He is always pleasant, friendly and helpful. I sometimes work close to another GA’s Own CU but I always do my banking at this location.

Don't know if this was the branch that review my application or not, but it's closest to my location. I got approved and all information was sent to them over email. They replied thank you and nothing for 2 weeks. Basically, they never got back to me after all the information I provided and got approved. I highly recommend trying out different banks. Credit union seems to not care about it's customers.

Just do not ask them to accept a power of attorney they refused to accept my power attorney and gave me no alternative and offered no apology. Simply saying that it was their policy so I will be changing banks.

I've been banking here for over 2 years and absolutely love them. They are always inviting and have warm smiles. I love the familiar faces and everything is so easy.

Only one person working, and you have to keep waiting for so long for a process that takes 5-10 minutes . Do you need to hire more people??

I walked in to inquire about refinancing my auto loan, I signed in and was asking the tellers a few questions. I was very disrespected and was treated like a child. I will never return and their behavior was embarrassing and discriminatory. The two ladies at the counter were awful and very rude. If this behavior is normal for them, I would anticipate them losing a lot of business. Mine for sure lost and very disappointed in the treatment I received. I left before even speaking to a loan representative. You don’t treat people like this and talk to someone because they look young. They should be using my face cream, Looks are deceiving.

I’ve had a checking and savings account at GA’s Own for over a year now and am totally glad I chose this bank at this location. They’re very friendly and always want to make sure you’re needs have been met. I’ve even noticed one of the tellers calling me by my first name as I’ve entered quite a few times. They also have a drive thru ATM and Night Deposits here.

I don’t bank with them yet, but I did a auto loan with them recently and they did a fantastic job. Super easy in the interest rate was more than fair.

Pleasant and friendly employees but never enough staff. The drive-thru takes longer than getting out of your car and going in with a line of people in the front.

Great helpful staff. Always a pleasure to do my banking at this branch.
