If you are looking for a pleasant experience while buying a clean, very fairly-priced used car, go see Todd Shiftar at George's in Brownstown! When I decided that I wanted a used minivan, I first went to Georges', because their reputation is excellent. I reviewed the CARFAX (available on all their vehicles) for several minivans and found one with a thorough and very favorable record. I checked all of the used car pricing sites, and searched Facebook and other sites to compare George's asking price. Todd Shiftar pleasantly greeted me, listened to me, gave me the keys, and let me test it out. Todd's approach was very low pressure. We worked everything out, including Todd finding me financing that matched the lowest rates I could get from my credit unions (and the lowest published rates on the Internet). I wanted time to think, and left; telling Todd that I would call him the next day. Todd was cool; no pressure. After I few hours of doing more online comparisons, and considering my other options, I went back and finished buying the beautiful Town & Country.

I just financed a focus st through this dealership, and todd and wade made sure i was getting a great deal, they let me take it for a test ride and they even fixed a few things that it needed and were very polite the whole time. Wade made the paperwork very quick and easy. I highly recommend this dealership!

This place is awful, they are very rude and disrespectful. Lady says their Vehicles go through Inspection before brought on lot. She definitely lied because I test drove a vehicle and the transmission was slipping. Don’t ever go here because they will try their hardest to talk you into their junk !

Pulled into the lot and before I was even to the door, Robert came out to greet and help me. I was already set on exactly what I wanted from looking online and he got to work on processing my app right away. The car I was interested in had just moved to the other lot an hour prior, but he had it brought back while we processed paperwork. Very easy process, friendly salesman, and not at all pushy. I felt very comfortable and was very happy with my experience here. To top it off, I have an amazing new van!

Very disappointed with this place. My daughter bought a vehicle from them and 10 days after buying a car, the car has some major problems with the engine. When contacting them, they basically did not have a good attitude. They said "you signed a contract" -- "you purchased a used car" - I realize that a contract was singed and it was a used vehicle, but really, 10 days after purchasing this vehicle? How did it pass inspection? You would think that their customer service would be a lot better! When purchasing a vehicle, that they said passed inspection, and 10 days later has major problems, you would think that they would try and be more helpful. I don't think that i would recommend buying a car from this place. I would go to a more reputable car lot...

I shouldn't even give this place one star! A family member bought a vehicle here February 2021. Since then it has had 2 different used engines put in and is now going back in the shop again with the engine light on. In order for the warranty to be good you need to take the vehicle to Brownstown Automotive for repairs. Frankly I am tired of dealing with these people. I would not ever recommend this place to anyone. How they could ever sell a vehicle like this to someone. It could not have passed any type of inspection. We will be having this vehicle looked at somewhere else for a second opinion. It was sold stating it passed inspection and we have contacted an attorney to go over any options to get this resolved.

GET A CARFAX!!! I CANNOT EMPHASIZE THIS ENOUGH!!!! I bought a car from them 5 years ago and we thought we were getting a great car and a decent deal. The car had low miles and was a 2014. We had asked if the car was in an accident and if it had damage at all, and were told NO! Great!! Flash forward to now, i paid my car off and we were trying to get me into a new car and sell the car to a chevy dealership. Well, they ran the carfax and couldnt take the car because there was structural damage and we had no idea. Cost us $9800 of a trade in value. Only reason for the second star is because the experience we had while we were there.

Todd schiftar didn't get me and my wife in exactly what we wanted but close enough a 2014 gmc Acadia we wanted a dodge Durango and we traded in a 2005 dodge Durango we got from them about 6 years ago

We originally read reviews for George's and felt like it had fairly good reviews so we decided to buy a vehicle from them. Within 10 days, it broke down TWICE, once when I had my young child with me, which was one of the main reasons why we got a newer vehicle. And it has now been in the shop over 3 weeks. So in a month we had the car a total of 10 days and STILL waiting for it to get fixed.
