I went into the store today after seeing a sign by the road advertising they have new guns. It was my first experience and I was actually impressed! All of the employees welcomed me in, and the store was clean!! and organized!! Nothing like I imagined a pawn shop to be. The prices were reasonable, staff knowledgeable. It was all around a great experience

From my experience i would definitely ask for Lacey Wintherroth, she greets as soon as you walk in the door u can here and feel her energy from across the room she makes you automatically look towards her direction, upon helping u with the best way to recieve a loan or upon a good deal selling your items. She also shows you other options of deals that they have in store with other merchandise. Um surprised shes not in a hire position than what shes in, but she has my vote to be. Went in to shop for a replacement wedding band. Lacey helped me find exactly what I was looking for and gave me a great deal. Ended up picking up a rifle for my son while I was there. Super knowledgable and helpful for both items.

Bad bad service , long time customer and I spend many dollars at this place, generally buy guns, ammo, jewelry and silver , was attempting to purchase some ammo marked with a price, only to be told the marked price was incorrect and refused to sell it for that price!! Now in my honest opinion the right thing to do would take a loss and keep a customer happy! but no I was told to leave the store after a request for them to honor the price. So with that said I will never spend another dime in that business, and recommend all other consider shopping elsewhere also....Money man pawn shop is just up the road..

Was in yesterday to pawn something and Carol helped be. She was kind patient and tried to get the most money for me. I came back today to pick up my items and junior helped me .. he even offered to clean my jewelry and proceeded to do so. I would definitely recommend either of them for any of tour pawn needs. The store was also very clean and all the items looked new and we'll maintained. Their jewelry section is out if this world as well . Loved all the good vibes. They also have a new addition named aldi. I've had the pleasure of dealing with her for about a year and she has great costumer service!!

Laporchia Fordham-Coachman is very professional and has a pleasant attitude each and every time I visit the Moncks Corner store. Always willing to go above and beyond to ensure A-1 customer service.

They offered me $10 for a $199 bluetooth speaker in brand new condition with all accessories and original packaging. I had to show the person helping me how to look up the correct item. Shortly after, an associate walked over to remind her right in front of me that the manager wants them to be aggressive with customers when buying things. She then offered $30, so I took my business to Money Man down the street and got $75 with no hassle.

The place is great especially Laporshia. She is 5e best and gives exceptional help with her customers. She is very good at her job and will recommend anyone to go and see her there.

So my husband and I had some things to get rid of and we're hesitant about going to a pawn store. We had went to several in the area and found some very dishonest people who knew they were low-balling our items, to the point the manager at one store( Cash America Pawn) couldn't even look us in the face and her employee was very confused at her lies. So we decided we'd go to Gene's and check out this store and it was wonderful from start to finish. Lindy and the other staff helping us were friendly kind and most importantly honest and more than fair. I would highly recommend this store for selling un-needed items or to purchase things as well. Will absolutely be going back to this store!!!

Extremely unusual pawn shop experience (in a good way!) Staff was warm and inviting. Fair, a pleasure to deal with. How many pawn shops have you been to with burning scented candles on the counter?? These people at Genes Pawn are GENUINELY FRIENDLY. They treat you with respect, and dignity. I went to that other pawn shop in town before , and left them because they talk down to everyone , and they ripped me off a few items saying it was a "sell" instead of a pawn. Genes Pawn deals with you fairly honestly ,and politely. Josh is my go-to guy , but all the staff are just as helpful and kind hearted. I wont pawn anywhere else now. God bless them ! 5 STARS !
