Janira and Jordan were helping me out today and it felt like I knew them my whole life they are very outgoing and great employees who are always looking out for the customer. They are very kind and even though I cannot get help with everything I brought in they were still able to help me out and it all went very smoothly. I definitely will be telling my family and friends about the valley stream shop!

Been doing business with Gem for close to 3 decades and the staff n workers are lovely people. I have met a few n each one more professional. 5 stars to these guys and Janira in Valley Stream.

I have been dealing with Gem pawnbrokers for several years. The experience has always been outstanding! The Manager Ms. Lori Quirk has the expertise and the personality that I sincerely appreciate. Although I live by a much closer Gem store, I prefer driving the extra miles, just so that I can deal only with Ms. Lori, Quirk. GEM need more managers like her. She is the best! Awesome! ! I tell all my friends about her.

I have never sold or borrowed against anything before and was apprehensive about the process when I walked in to Gem. Thankfully Lori was there and made the entire process easy to understand and painless. She was patient and explained everything thoroughly. She gave me a fair price for my jewelry and was just an all around pleasure to do business with. There is a real Gem at this Gem Pawnbrokers location. Lori at Gem is fantastic , she’s works with you and gets you the most money on your Items. Never has this location. Attempted to low ball me and had consistently worked with me particularly when the due dates come up on the item and figure out ways to get yore items back to you or find reasonable manners to extend the contract. I recommend their services to any person seeking to pawn or purchase pawned items. Ask for Lori for great service .

On July 1 I went to the store the lady asked me to wait for 40 minutes because she’s busy doing something else when I was there for a 5minutes transaction. That’s a lack of respect for customers. What ever she was doing could have waited, you simply just don’t make a customer wait for 30 minutes.

Gem Pawn is by far the best Gem location. Janira was very helpful and professional. Definitely will return here if I need to. 👍🏻
