Super awesome team! They processed my difficult loan pretty fast with no problems. Joe was great to deal with and very responsive. He and his team answered all of my questions almost immediately. I have already recommended friends and family!

Thomas stood out from other lenders we were considering during our refinance process because he took the time to call us and find out our entire situation. He was very honest and maintained a high level of integrity throughout. His staff made this whole process super easy and I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

What an experience. I just completed a refi with GE, M, and Antoine Moore made the process so smooth, easy, and fast. Antoine followed up with me on a daily basis to let me know what was going on and where we stood in the process. He was so easy to work with and very informative. Any questions I had no matter the time he responded. If I could not make it to the office he went out of his way to get the information required. Antoine's professionalism does not go unnoticed and his customer service in one word "outstanding". I had a little issue with the Escrow company he stepped in and the issue was solved right away. He made me feel valued and my experience could never be forgotten. I look forward to working with Antoine again in the near future.

They saved my escrow after being let down by the previous lender. They got the job done in two weeks and with much better pricing. They were responsive, knowledgeable, and truly caring. Just know if you choose this team you will never need to speak to another lender ever again from the moment they introduce themselves to you.

One of the biggest reasons we decided to go with GEM was that we felt that this was going to be a 30yr relationship we were committing to. We really enjoyed working with their team and decided to go with GEM for their exemplary customer service, even though we were offered a comparable loan at a 0.625% lower rate by a different, also reputable lender. We figured the higher rate would be worth it for the better service over the life of the loan. A few weeks after closing we were contacted by a random company that we had never heard of, nor met with (honestly I thought it was a scam company) telling us to set up an account to make our mortgage payments. I contacted GEM to ask if this other company was a scam, and to set up our actual payment account with GEM. To my surprise they responded that yes this was real, and that they already sold our loan to some other company... before we ever made our first payment. ouch.. Turns out that feeling like we weren't being "sold" a loan during the lending process was a misplaced assumption, and that actually "we" were the item being "sold" While I still feel that GEM did a great job during the lending, I now regret not going with the lender with the lower rate.. We definitely feel a little taken advantage of. *first time homebuyer lesson* Original Review: We had a great experience with Gem Mortgage. They were very responsive and helpful throughout the lending process; especially for first time homebuyers! They explained everything clearly, and ran us through a lot of scenarios and options. We really appreciated that it felt like they were matching us to a loan that would work the best for us, and we never felt like we were being "sold" anything by a pushy car dealership salesman. We are glad we decided to go with them and look forward to working with them over the life of the loan!

Jose was very helpful from the very beginning. We started the process almost a year ago (new development home) and he stuck with us through it all. Not good service, It was Great Service,. that is what I received from Gem Mortgage under Cynthia MacNaugton and her whole team. Cynthia worked very diligent to make sure i got the best deal available for my personal situation and kept on top to make sure i wouldn't lost any of the savings available. I want to tank her and her team for their prompt follow ups if some change, in my case it change a few times but their prompt response avoided me to loose great opportunity in my refinance. Stephanie Wade at Gem Mortgage really took care of us. We had a very tight close - 17 days - and she was very quick to answer our calls and emails. She basically held our hands through the whole process. And we got a great rate!

Melissa and the other folks at GEM were really easy to work with. Very good answers to questions (and very patient while I asked those questions). Also... whenever I threw them a curveball (since I'm a bit of an e-commerce dinosaur) they found easy workarounds that I could handle. All in all a smooth and efficient process.
