My wife and I visited this Geico office in late May to get home insurance and had an EXCEPTIONAL experience. We were helped by Mr. Gary Foster. This is our first home purchase, so naturally we had a lot of questions and were generally unsure about the whole process. Gary was so helpful and knowledgeable in answering all the questions we had. He really took the time to go over what everything means and what kind of coverage we were getting. He also got us a great price, which beat every other quote we tried to get on our own. I cannot understate how helpful Gary was through the whole process. We went in nervous and unsure but came out of it feeling like we had a crash course. Excellent job and we have been recommending to everyone we know! Regarding the rest of the experience, we went without an appointment and were seated very quickly. The place was also very clean and pleasant looking, which was nice to see.

Eugene was very helpful in the process of obtaining my policy. I previously got an online quote and he followed up with me within a day or so with a lower quote for basically the same coverage. He kept in touch very well, and was able to get the policy finalized on my time. Great overall service

I was with the same insurance company for a long time. After getting my mom, a dependable vehicle I knew I had to find something more affordable. Not only were they more affordable but I received better coverage and a much nicer agent to deal with.

I had gotten a quote online but it was too high. I got a call from Felix at Geico and I let him know and right away he got my info and was able to get me a lower rate I was happy with. Everything got done quick and easy!!

Submitted a quote online, received a call back from this store. Received final numbers on the phone and asked to be called back in the afternoon to process payment method. Never received a call back so a week later I called back. Person who I spoke to was busy so I left call back number. Still no call back. So I called again wanting him to take credit for the policy and I left a message due to all agents busy. Still no call back. Went back online finalized numbers myself and even saved a bit. Agents should work on their follow ups.

Cole Biondo pulled it off for me. My homeowners insurance is a fraction of what I was paying prior. I have it bundled with my car and my motorcycle. He even started a new policy for my father which was a nice drop in his monthly auto insurance. We swapped from liberty and the best decision we have made yet. Our call was about over an hr and it was a pleasure (he was a human being looking to help and not someone just looking to make a sale) and he is courteous and respectful while assisting you. Conclusion is 2 big policies done, saving me a few hundred a month, and assistance and questions answered on my other 2 policies. Handled all concerns, Cole is my go to guy.

I have called your office twice to speak with Derek. He has been unavailable both times. He has not returned my phone calls to date, two days out. If this is the kind of service that I will receive from your office, I will have to find other insurance agents. I am very disappointed. It turns out it was a miscommunications. Derek never received my messages. Once he was aware of my telephone calls, he called me. We addressed the issues. All was solved quickly and easily. I thank Derek for his help with the matter. Be careful. Submitted for an auto quote online. Received a call to go over quote and finalized policy. It was a great experience up until that point. After the call I open my email to find out i was also enrolled in renters insurance that we NEVER spoke about. It was not a miscommunication. Renters insurance was never mentioned. Received an email with my e-signature saying i agreed to this when it was never mentioned by the agent. We ONLY spoke about auto. Extremely disappointed. Be careful. Honestly don't know how that is allowed/legal.

Felix my Rep was amazing & on point. I was in a jam to obtain homeowner insurance. Someone recommended Felix. I text him & he immediately responded, it was the wked & by the end of business on Monday I had a quote & it was cheaper than all the other quotes plus I saved 10% off my auto insurance. How sweet is that. Btw GEICO is the only insurance carrier I ever use, over 20yrs. .

They called me to let me know i was eligible for a discount without me having to go and look! Saving money and getting quality service is two things i always look for. Trying to get renter's insurance for my out-of-state storage unit, the claims agent (the office doesn't have a sales unit, per se) listened to me, then relayed the information to my GEICO home insurance policy, which explained that I'd have to get separate insurance, because I wasn't the homeowner. So, the agent contacted the sales unit, correctly relayed the information, and, within 5 minutes, I was connected by my cell phone to an agent, who asked a few questions, listened to what I needed, and got me a renter's insurance, which included a bundled discount on my car. In all, I was at the office for about 20 minutes, which didn't seem all that long.

I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated by this office, specifically Eugene Stumme, and his supervisor, which resulted in financial hardship for my family. While shopping for a homeowner's policy, Eugene Stumme contacted me to provide me with a homeowner's insurance policy quote, which was competitive. I completed the general property questionnaire, agreed to the terms of the policy, and paid for the annual policy in full. Obviously, our search for homeowner's insurance stopped at that point. Subsequent to moving into the property I received an additional bill for the policy which was 18% over and above the original policy quote. When I inquired about the increase, I was told that the increase was due mostly to the house having a garage, a patio, and being "close to the beach". All of these items could have and should have been considered as part of the original underwriting of the policy as they are in plain view and should have been known by Geico. I contacted this office regarding this gross oversight, for which Eugene and his supervisor told me "there's nothing we can do". I've been a loyal Geico customer for the better part of 15 years and I would not recommend this office to anyone, that is, unless you like to be lied to. We will be cancelling our homeowner's and auto policies and taking our business elsewhere as soon as we are able to obtain coverage from a different insurance company.

I had the pleasure of working with a brilliant young women named Kelli Graffiti from your Commack office. She was wonderful to deal with.Very helpful and supportive, professional and polished. Wonderful team player. She was a joy to work with and very knowledgeable about her job. She was able to help me figure out my needs in regards to Insurance and I switched over to Geico. I’m so glad she returned my call! She a charm!

Geico Insurance will answer the phone to take payment as we pay thousands. We have a claim and we have left messages for 2 weeks to get status on our payment. Geico will bounce you around from dept to dept to waste hours on the phone. The claims dept will not help you. The claim agent that we are assigned to refuses to call back and has her voice mail set up sometimes. Absolutely the worst customer service out there. Insurance companies will take all your money but will not assist you when you need them. Going on 2 weeks without a phone call. Absolutely terrible service. Spent hours on the phone the last 2 weeks and again NO Responses. Do NOT use Geico. You will never get through unless they are taking payment.

I had the pleasure of dealing with one of the most professional, knowledgeable agents at the Geico in Commack. His name was Cole Biondo. He was very patient with me and all the questions I had in comparing my current policy with my new policy . I ended up with the same coverage for less money. Highly recommend you ask for Cole.

I got connected to GEICO in Commack when I was shopping for car insurance for my father. Fran, who suggested I review my home and auto policy at a later date called me back and ran the numbers for me. After switching over, Fran saved me over $500 a year! She was friendly, courteous, and explained all the details to me. At no point did she try to up sell me something I didn’t need, which was my experience with other companies. All in all I would highly recommend Fran to anyone who’s looking to save on their policies!

He could have tried to take advantage of my situation, but chose to do the right thing for me. He made me feel comforted by my decision to call him after my having gone through a very stressful time in my life. Referred here by dealership. Signing up was fast and easy. Agent was friendly. As part of the process, I asked the dealership to send over some documents, which was later confirmed by both parties. Three weeks later I find out that my documents were never received. Otherwise, pleasant service.

This was the first time I had bought car insurance in years. I called the Geico agent several times with questions before I made up my mind to go with Geico. Never once did he seem annoyed or impatient, he answered everything, sometimes several times, and by the time we were done, I knew for sure that I'd made the right choice. My experience since then has been fine. Thankfully, I haven't been in any accidents so far, but when I called the office with a question about my rate, I received a prompt and helpful answer.

When purchasing a new car at a NYC Mitsubishi dealership, I was quite surprised when the dealer got Geico on the phone to set up my car insurance. The Geico rep was courteous and pleasant, he quickly got all my info and in a few minutes I had a policy and insurance cards in my hands. Spoke with Cole to get a home insurance policy set up. Since I’m a first time home buyer he made that part of the process very easy by going over the coverages and explaining them in detail. Suggestions were made which were reasonable and greatly appreciated. Quick access to representative over phone call. Competitive insurance cost. Yet, the online quote is sometime cheaper than the one agent may give you over phone call after getting many info! In my experience, I got the bundle of renter + car insurance but later realized the online quote gives me the same cost for car insurance without needing to get bundle.

I'll give Geico, in general, 5 stars because I've been with you guys for several years. I'm not sure if it's an inconvenience or or not because I rarely use cash money. And I mean rarely as in once a year. But I went to the Geico office local here by my home and I wanted to pay my 6-month service off in one shot with the cash I had. I looked up a quote online saw the original quote and went on with my day. Two days later Warren called me and left me a voicemail letting me know that he looked over my file and was able to get me a better policy for less. Everything was set and done in about an hour. I would recommend Warren definitely again

Manny (Commack Office) was a delight to deal with! He was able to clearly explain what I needed in terms of home owner's insurance for a condo. I was going to add car insurance at a later date, but he was easily able to get me a GREAT DEAL on that as well. Professional and personable!!!

I got a great rate on my car insurance and then I got a call from the Geico local office. I did not know that they had one??? They reviewed my on line quote which I thought was good and bundled the auto policy with homeowners and wow did I save. On line is great but talking to the local office save me over $500 combined auto and homeowners. They were GREAT!!
