My husband and I worked with Dorothy and Jennifer and had a great experience! Both Jennifer and Dorothy were always very easy to get in contact with and they answered questions in a timely manner. We had a very tight closing and they were able to get it finished on time and we were able to close on our new construction home! Anyone looking for a mortgage, these are the people!

We bought our dream home!!! Between job changes for me and my wife, moving closing dates 3 times from mid December to finally February. This was a very challenging process. Matt, Talia and Adriana were an absolute ease to work with and came through in the clutch. We wouldn’t have gotten through this with out them. Gateway mortgage is really lucky to have you three. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with in the closing of our condo! Every member of the team was extremely attentive, prompt, and informative. Special shout-out to Jennifer, Ashley, and Barbara for all of their patience with us as first time home buyers who had NO idea what we were doing. They also were extremely informative considering we did not use a realtor so they really were our only go-to! They compared different options for us to make sure we were getting the best deal. Tori and her team at Gateway Mortgage helped me get a mortgage and close on my house on 23 Feb. This was a difficult process because I have a VA loan, my credit score was a little low, and the market was in the sellers favor. None the less, Tori got me a mortgage and now I am officially a homeowner for the first time. I am the first woman in my lineage and the 2 person overall in my family line to own a home, this was a great accomplishment for me. Tori helped both me and my brother buy houses. Tori walked me through the mortgage process with ease, she is extremely knowledgeable, empathetic, and honest. I was never left in the dark about what I needed to do and next steps were clear and concise. I most appreciated that Tori (and everyone else on the team) answered the phone every single time I called and if she wasn’t able to answer she texted me and then called back when she was available to talk. Even with a less favorable credit score my interest rate is basically in line with average rates in Connecticut. My house also appraised at about $6k more than I paid for it so I went into the loan with equity. After bringing my credit score up significantly, I paid next to nothing in closing costs so I had a stack of money saved up to put away for later. Words cannot express my gratitude for all Tori has done for my family. I wish I could have rated this company higher.

Dorothy and Jennifer were a godsend throughout the mortgage lending and home buying process! They were recommended to me by my real estate agent, Samantha Stockel, who was also superb. I'm not one to write reviews on Google, but these ladies deserve it! I had a very short closing period, and Dorothy and Jennifer went above and beyond to ensure I secured a lower rate and were incredibly responsive throughout the whole process. They maintained a clear line of communication and worked diligently to meet all impending deadlines with such a short closing period.
