Value: 4/5 - Prices are typically within 10% of market value, but there are some outliers. However, this can work in the buyer's favor! Occasionally you'll find a great deal among the store's rotating stock. Location: 4/5 - Parking is limited, and the store is a little inconvenient to reach. Inside is a completely different story. Organization is top notch, and the store is neat and tidy from floor to ceiling. They offer a dedicated tabletop gaming space as well! No public restrooms. Overall: 5/5 due to a fantastic selection, great organization, and extras like tabletop gaming space and coin-op gachapon machines.

Fantastic store! This place has all kinds of goodies and loot! I have found some of the most random cultural and gaming items in this place because it's always changing. Whether it's a nostalgic quest item or a shiny idol to set on a mantle, its definitely worth a scope out to see what you can add to your bounty.

My boys and nephews absolutely love the place! Prices on games are good but electronics are too much.

The people inside may come off as weird or antisocial but if you try to connect with something in the store really nice people also LOVE the guarana soda and like the retro feel to the store. We ended up talking about pokemon cards and new pokemon such as moltres.

Spent 270$ on a 4 year old PlayStation that when I got it home it was covered in sticky residue didn’t come with a controller charger cable the ps4 power supply cable was wrong. And the ps4 controller (an off brand) lasted 2 hours then started vibrating until the controller died. The ps4 had an account logged into it that they had no idea how to get off I was told it was Inspected before I bought it I was lied to. The ps4 is very slow and very loud and gets pretty warm. I hate GameStop but would rather thrown my money at them then waste it with Game exchange. Atleast they reset it and do look at it vs lying. 1-5 would highly recommend you stay away from these guys. And best thing too is you CANT get a refund only in store credit!

Great place for anything retro! THE ONLY PLACE TO SELL GAMES AND ACCESSORIES. Pay more than anyone else around. Good selection too.

Always friendly service. Knowledgeable staff. Good place to go to. Usually swing in whenever I'm in Bowling Green. Always...beats...gamestop... Dropped in today, think her name was michelle. Friendly and easy to talk to for a quick purchase.

Amazing place. Had never been there until a couple Tuesdays ago and it's awesome. Much better than gamestop in my opinion. Much larger selection of games, much cheaper to buy games, offer more money on trades, and also have movies for sale. Definitely an establishment that i will frequent

Many good deals on movies, especially in their 1$ bargain buckets. Videogames are all fairly priced, even new ones being $5 or $10 dollars below market price in order to incentivize purchases. The only issue was antique videogames, such as those in the display cases, were a bit on the expensive side, however, this is no big deal as the prices were still relatively fairly priced. Great service, would recommend.

They have an incredible variety of games and consoles -- old, new, and anywhere in between. The staff is helpful and they're also very reasonable when offering store credit. Although a few of the consoles I've bought here in the past have had problems, I'd still pick this store over GameStop any day.

I love Game X Change. They offer more credit than any other game store I can find. Their spread is a little thin, but if you're in to retro games you won't mind it that much. I rarely see games that are in too poor of condition, and even then the damage is only cosmetic. The only negatives I can really find are their lack of a PC selection and a public restroom.

Black lady at the counter was nice, answered all of my questions to the best of her ability. I almost walked away with someone else's merchandise. The selection was okay, but the prices are great.

Such an underrated place. Great staff that's always ready to help you in any way. Inside is very nice and inviting but also it is very neatly organized as finding what you need is a breeze. There is also a table to sit at if you ever just need somewhere to hang out for an hour or two.

Game X Change is an awesome store if you just look at their inventory at face value. The problem is they obviously do not test or clean any products that they buy for resell. I purchased a Play Station 2 and 4 games. Prices were great, however I get home and the PS2 was shrink wrapped and had clearly not been cleaned as it had dirt in every crack and crevice. Out of the 4 games I bought 2 worked the first night. I returned the 2 that didn't work and the gentlemen that was at the register took the games, didn't look at them, never really asked the problems, just scanned them handed me a piece of paper with store credit and walked away. Never gave me an option to see if they had other copies of the games I had returned or anything. A couple other associates were amazing and tried to find me a working copy of the games and still had no luck. I am likely going to ve returning the entire purchase and going somewhere where they actually test and stand behind their products. This isn't the first issue I've had with games from this location not working as they also sold me a Pokémon game that's CMOS battery was completely dead in making it impossible to save. They give half an effort and charge what would easily be considered full retail prices. I will not be back.

Decent selection, but their main office has no idea about actual pricing on collectibles, especially Pops and Soda figures. They claim to go by Pop Price Guide, but Soda figures are a bit trickier. If it has been opened, you can't sell by the sealed value. It becomes about if it is common or chase. The actual Pops themselves seem more priced by some odd trend. Was actually a little disgusted to find the Eddie Van Halen Pop priced at nearly $60 when PPG has never priced it that high and it is commonly $15. The store could do much better with higher ups that display common sense in setting prices.

This place was pretty amazing when it first opened, but it’s gone down hill the past couple of years. They still have some older games, but they’re few and far between. It’s been a while since the last time I was in the store maybe right before the pandemic and it seemed like they had more movies at that time. You’d think as big as Bowling Green is that we would have quite a few video game stores that sold older video games… Game X Change used to have tons of Playstation 2 and Xbox games, but they were very light on NES, Super NES, N64, Gamecube, Sega Genesis, Game Gear, Dreamcast etc. They had quite a selection of Playstation 4 and Xbox One games as well… They would sometimes have some older consoles or as I called them “systems”, but they would have a few different models of those Retron consoles that plays NES, Super NES and Sega games all in one, but didn’t see them last time I was there.

Lots of used games to fill out your collection at a good price. Comfortable atmosphere. Yes, they have 360 compatible controllers for your PC playing needs.

Lot's of DVDs and modern games at good prices. More importantly (for me at least) is they have decent prices on classic games (NES, SNES, Genesis, etc) and seem to get them in regularly. Definitely recommend checking out Game X Change!

Really amazing place. Brings back lots of old memories. There was a guy in there once complaining about a PS4 with an account on it or something and had a whole buncha complaints. The PS4 was literally in pristine condition along with the components and I watched them factory reset it. Some people just can't be satisfied. The dude even got a cash return... felt bad for the workers, they're amazing, friendly and professional. I hope they don't get anymore like that PS4 Guy. Some people just can't keep up with the times I guess. Imagine not understanding how technology works.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Prices seem reasonable. Lots of selection of equipment and games of various vintages. Would recommend you stop in and check them out.

The two employees that worked this evening we're extremely kind and helpful! Also they were patient with answering my 5 year olds many questions, and me as a mom who has no idea what specs my son's game console was!

Everyone I have ever dealt with here has always been super friendly and helpful. I’ve never gotten defective equipment from them, and I usually have better luck finding what I’m looking for here than anywhere else. Example from today is coming to get a new power cord for my partner’s Xbox 360. The person helping me didn’t see it in their case right away, so she went to the back ad found one for me. I’ll always go here before anywhere else when looking for something for console gaming.

LOVE this store. I spend WAY too much money there. But the bargains are fantastic. The staff are always super nice, welcoming and knowledgeable.

The game selection is overwhelming and the amount of consoles is staggering. I could not even begin to count how many games they have in stock, I saw games dating back to the Atari 2600, tons of NES games, PS1 games, basically all Gens. There were accessories for most all systems, I have been in many gaming stores and this is probably the most comprehensive collection I have seen, if you need anything for games and gaming this is the place you want to go to.

Friendly staff with a large selection of used video games and movies for any platform you can think of. Good prices on used consoles of all types and many generations. Stop in to see if you can find a deal, or a hard to find out of print game!

A couple people that work there are a tad on the disrespectful side. I go in there with my friends and they'll talk their ear off. If I try to chime in with a question or something they interrupt me or flat out ignore me. I've gotten some great deals in there, but there are just as many times if not more so that I find something very over-priced. I'd make sure I scour the Internet before dropping $30 on a game or $120 for a console. I'm not even saying that because I don't like spending "pocket change", I'm saying that because I find many of their games cheaper online or in other stores. Another problem I have is that their trade-in values are insulting. You will get low-balled like you wouldn't believe. One last complaint I have is the conditions of the consoles they have. For instance, I bought a PSP 2000 from them. Played it when I got home, and the disk drive is loose and the battery is fried to the point I have to keep it plugged into the charger to get more than an hour of playtime out of it. I'd just be careful buying AND selling here. You can get lucky, and you can get ripped off. It's really a game of chance here. If it weren't for the other employees and the good deals I have gotten there, I would've rated it one star.
