I'm so sick of this credit union. I have banked with chase for years and never had issues like I do here. Fix your app...so many over drafts because the account lags at showing ur point of sales transactions for days. Took almost 5 days for my credit card payment to post but my card had the money on it in 2. It's a scam for them to get overdraft charges. Hunnington and Chase have grace for overdrafts while this place sets u up to overdraft. Took our vehicle payment after we had just paid it and caused so many things to overdraft. We will be finding a new bank and closing all accounts and loans with this poor excuse of a place. What a joke. Steal from poor people to make yourselves richer. Good ole capitalism 😉

I'm giving a one star for the calling system. Gives you zero help. I've been trying to get ahold of somebody for over an hour now, and nowhere in the selection over the phone gives you an option to talk to somebody. And when you don't know a specific piece of information it just hangs up on you. The professional thing to do would be to transfer you to a live agent, so they can further assist you with your issue. I'm getting tired of this. I don't feel like it should be this hard to get a hold of somebody. And I don't feel like I should be hung up on when I can't figure it out.

I never really took having a credit union account very seriously. I opened my account, due to my employer at the time, requiring it. I was hesitant to do this, but the rewards of being a member of Frankenmuth Credit Union. Through it all, they gave me a credit builder credit card when no one else would give me the time of day. They have been with me in the best and worse of times. And I have been living well outside of their footprint of Central Michigan and the Thumb area for almost a year and they have been nothing but awesome. Most people would want something close to home, but I know when I call Frankenmuth CU all the way from Florida, things will get handled in the most professional manner possible. My credit builder account that started with a limit of $ 250 has been increased twice in a period of a year. When I need to do a wire transfer through them, it can be done via phone. No task is too small or large for them to handle. When they spotted suspicious and fraudulent activity on my credit card, they immediately alerted me and did not charge me a single penny for it. I may have only lived in Central Michigan for 18 months, but I will be member of Frankenmuth Credit Union for life.

Fraud protection service is a joke at Frankenmuth credit Union someone hacked our account there was a transaction at a Marathon gas station for $500, and now they try to say it was a progressive insurance transaction so they lie through their teeth to try to keep your money very very very unprofessional very dissatisfied with the services at Frankenmuth credit Union should be ashamed to even call themselves a credit union.

A lady named Jesse is who I spoke to. Horrible customer service. They promise you one thing on the phone and do another. Horrible experience!!!!!

Do Not Bank Here!!! they will allow money to be taken out of your account when it’s not in there, then charge you a balance protection fee, then send you to collections 😂😂😂 @Lisa @Spencer 🎯

The only reason I give two stars at all is because the cashiers are very nice and always helpful. As for the the rest of the Credit Union, I have been turned down time and time again from anything from a loan to a credit builder credit card! I have asked several times to get help from green path and I’m told I don’t have enough debt to help me. Well if I don’t then I should be approved for a loan or card! The higher-ups have made me feel so bad about myself and just horrible for wasting their time in even trying to apply for anything. It’s really sad they don’t want to help the little people in the world!!!!!!!

I’m very disappointed in the service I just received from these people. I called and explained that I’m looking to purchase 2 vehicles from the heir of a DECEASED member that may have liens on the titles and the girl proceeded to tell me the member has to call to request the information. Please, someone go ahead and explain how someone who has passed away is supposed to call you all and request payoff information? I’d truly love to know the answer to that.

A check was cashed 5/14/2021 ck# 2976 written from a Frankenmuth Credit Union checkbook from a company that’s an LLC account with there last checking account number ending in an 8 …. Where mine is a 4….Then another from the same checking account 5/16/2022 ck#3828 a year later almost 900 checks in between that that company has used. That company has no relationship or name to do with me. I was told the reader read the account wrong but there is a red warning that pops up so the teller knows. The teller still forced the check to go through.

Worst bank ever. Lisa and Michelle lied about my account. They took my electronic signature and changed the documents without my permission. Do NOT trust this bank or anyone in it. Go on yelp for more helpful reviews of this establishment. You will see that several people have had this bank do things in their accounts without permission. Some leading to the bank having to give the money back. This is not legal. Stay away from this bank and keep your money safe. Don't sign anything for them either, they will use it to change your contract without you knowing. After rereading several of the 5 star rating on here for this bank, it appears that several 5 star people worked or knows someone working at this bank and has done a review to simply up their rating on Google. You can dig for yourself. Just run the name posted through Facebook, pull their profile, look through their info. You will find aunts, uncles, cousins, acquaintances all left 5 star reviews. That's very disheartening to find that a bank is so desperate.

It was nice to chat with someone who could inform me of what I needed. I was at work and it was difficult to make a call. Nice option. I have been a member since 2019 and I have never had such wonderful experience with any other banking institution. I have had a bank account since 1993 and never felt this valued. They are always helpful and I love how accessible they are. You can call, text and chat online with quick responses. I had my oldest child set up an accounts with them for his first experience for his first job while he was in high school.

Fraud Prevention caught the fraud, I lost no money and dealt with pleasant people at every step. I simply verified which purchases were mine and had a new card within a couple hours. Great experience!

This bank is horrible. They act all nice upfront but they are so fake. When you ask for help they just treat you like a number because they only care about making money off of you. Save yourself a headache and go to any other place.

I refinanced my mortgage through FCU and I was very impressed! My Loan Officer was Michelle Minnis and she was phenomenal! She reached out to me in the morning and by lunch time my application was approved and sent to processing. She was prompt, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable! A top-notch individual all around. I would highly recommend FCU and Michelle if you are considering refinancing or getting your first mortgage.
