FlexPoint and our loan officer, Adam Efazat, made the entire mortgage refinance process painless and straightforward. We had a lot of questions through the process and our inquiries were always answered promptly and clearly. Getting towards the end of the process near the holidays delayed things by a week or two (more from our end than theirs), but they extended our rate lock without charging us for it and ensured we still got a superior rate with low costs.

Sean was a wonderful help and really tailored the experience for me. He was flexible, answered all my questions with terminology I understood as well as reviewed paperwork with me. Not only that, but he referred me to an insurance broker that got me a much better deal on insurance.

We went to FlexPoint for our Re-Fi. Virgil was so helpful and instrumental in us being successful in this process. I wish I could give him 10 stars. He's friendly, professional and has follow-through. Unfortunately, Roxanne, our loan processor wasn't anything at all like him. She didn't return numerous emails and phone messages, making this experience a bad one. I would recommend asking for another processor if you get her. Horrible. Period. I just saw another review mentioning her name saying the same thing. FlexPoint - this doesn't take a genius to figure it out. She's bad business. I highly recommend you ask for Virgil. He provides his cell phone and immediately returns messages and calls. Night and day service from her. Virgil, thank you for all you did for us. You truly made our experience as pleasant as could be!

Disappointing experience, I made my goals very clear with Jordan yet suddenly when they have my new rate in place they tried to spin it as a good deal when it clear wasn't. Also they were not transparent about the new rate. Would not reccomend Flexpoint to anyone.

We applied for a refi with a number of lenders and due to some complicated financial issues were unable to close until we contacted FlexPoint. They went the extra mile getting upper management involved to resolve the issues and close the loan. We couldn't be happier with their level of service.

After writing my review of FlexPoint, I received a call from the President of the company, sincerely apologizing for what happened. He did not deny that it happened but wanted me to know that it should not of happened and the letter I did receive should not have been mailed. He noted his company would never want to be known for tactics like this. He convinced me that the rate offer letter was a mistake. He also stated the employee I spoke with has been briefed on appropriate dialog with potential customers. I have reconsidered my review based on the apology received and would use this company for future loans based on the contact and explanation received from the President, Mr. Leffler. I received a letter from FlexPoint advertising that if eligible I would refinance at 2.125% interest for a fixed 30 year loan. So despite my skepticism, I called and was led down the merry path only to find out there is no loan available to anyone at that rate. This type of sales tactic, the classic bait and switch is a waste of everyone's time. I would never get a loan from these guys as they are totally dishonest in their advertising. The person I spoke with, Kenneth, even had the nerve to tell me, well everyone does it. Wow! Beware of this lender!

It was a pleasure refinancing with FlexPoint under Mike Harrison and staff. The experience was positive and when asked questions felt comfortable with answers. Professionalism and knowledge were exercised throughout the whole process. This was the second time we had refinanced with FlexPoint, a reputable company. We would definitely recommend financing with FlexPoint Mortgage Corporation.

Reasons for poor review. Lack of urgency in responses. 4-5 attempts sometimes with inquiries before answers. Sometimes no response at all. Lack of attention to detail from loan processor regarding documents I sent them. Caused several duplicated efforts on items. No communication between team members. I was asked for the same thing several times throughout the loan. Expectations were set high by company and did not deliver on most. Was told certain items on checklist were closed and that was not the case. I informed them of several items that I believed could have held up the loan far in advance so they could be prepared for them when the time came. They were either neglected or forgotten as they acted like it was the first time they heard of them when they came back to the forefront. Director of Sales was looped in on several issues. Never answered unless it was with a dismissive tone. Was given a few call-to-action items regarding bank transfers less than an hour before banks closed. Constant incorrect information regarding call-to-action items. This caused the closing to be pushed back three times. In the 40-ish days that the loan was being processed, the majority of the issues arose in the last 10-15 days of the process. The only reason I did not switch lenders is because the loan was too far along. General tone of the company was very unprofessional, dismissive, and not at all customer service oriented. My loan was sold to another provider before my first payment. So I called Flexpoint to clarify who my first payment should go to. Was told by an employee there that the first payment would go to the new loan service co. I was informed four months later by my current loan service company that Flexpoint reached out because they had not been paid after they told me that the first payment would go to the company they sold the loan to. Was not very enjoyable and was actually worried that this whole chain of events would negatively affect my credit score and payment history. Would strongly recommend going through a different company.

Charlie Wilson rocks! He is the best professional in the field. Very competent and patient. He made me save $Ks with refinancing my mortgage. Another excellent factor is that he collaborates with Sandra Garcia who is an outstanding, kind and super reliable professional in his team. Both went above and beyond for me and my family. Worst experience of my life. Three months of me producing every item requested and multiple hits on my credit, as they checked it almost daily, repeatedly told that we would be funding "next week", "on the third", then suddenly on MLK day, I get an email from someone I have never worked with stating that our application was "denied". Craig Meyer, Jefferson Hall and Roxanne Yazdani have vanished and I get crickets when I reach out for an explanation. I am not rich, but my credit is decent, and they assured me from minute one that my credit was fine. Absolutely devastating experience.

My experience with Flexpoint themselves was great. Everyone I worked with explained almost every part of the process to me and I was able to secure a great rate and get refinanced within 3-4 weeks. Every time I called, a human picked up and answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable with Flexpoint. So why the 1 -star? Turns out Flexpoint is a middleman. Once they finance your loan, they will immediately sell that loan to another company without your consent or permission and suddenly you will have to work with them. In my case, they sold my loan to Suntrust, who uses your standard 10-layer phone tree with outsourced customer service agents with poor english. I was on virtual hold for days as I awaited a call back. Its very frustrating that I now am stuck with a 30 year commitment to this random company that I DID NOT agree to do business with. I called Flexpoint back explaining my frustration and extreme disappointment. Their response was that this was their standard practice, that they are, in fact, middlemen. During the entire 4 week refinance process, this "standard practice" was never mentioned to me. How would you feel if you hired a babysitter to watch your kid for a week and then an hour in, they call you and say "Hey, I gave your kid to some other sitter I know. Thanks for your business!" Long story short; If you want to feel safe knowing that your biggest investment is in good hands, finance elsewhere. Flexpoint doesn't actually manage your loan. RESPONSE TO OWNER RESPONSE: You should clearly inform your customers that their loan will be moved around and that they will be dealing with another company. It's not "on rails" if I have to setup recurring payments and possibly be late every time you guys decide to play "hot potato" with my debt

We called FlexPoint in February to see if they could help us refinance our home. Guram became our point person, and it could not have been a better experience. He answered all our (many) questions, clearly laid out the options available, and helped us choose the best option regarding price/interest rate. FlexPoint Mortgage got me to 2.75% for very low cost. Christopher worked with us and every step on the way, questions, follow up, etc., he took the time to call or email and help us understand every single detail. We questioned everything. What impressed me the most was the fact that he didn't treat us like customers. We could have refinanced months ago but he suggested we wait some time. Ultimately, the wait was worth it because the difference between 3.1% to 2.75% is significant. I responded to a mailer advertising low refi rates and recently completed my refinance through FlexPoint. The process went smoothly; the emails and website portal were very user-friendly. Sean McCone, the Loan Officer I dealt with, was courteous and knowledgeable. He asked the right questions to understand why I wanted to refinance and he presented options clearly while keeping my end-goal in mind. I normally don't write reviews, but this was an absolutely horrible experience that warranted one. The staff are extremely aggressive and have continued to harrass me even after I had the professional courtesy to tell them that I have decided to move forward with another lender due to better rates and lower closing costs. Today, this loan officer Jared, calls me and wants to know why I've decided to go with another lender. Then, when I tell him which lender I have chosen, as he kept insisting on telling him the name, he begins belittling the lender and says that they are probably using deceptive practices to provide a lower rate and closing costs. When I tell him that Craig is charging me points to bring my rate down, while the other lender is charging 0 points, and that the closing cost with Flexpoint is almost $5,500 more, he continues to claim that the company I have chosen to proceed with is most likely using deceptive practices. Jared, if you have such good reviews, then why does Flexpoint have a B- rating with the BBB, while the company I am using has an A+ rating? Then Jared continues to insist on wanting the quoted loan I was given by the other lender and when I refuse to give it to him, he becomes condescending, stating, "I still don't understand why you won't send me the loan the other lender quoted you?" Do you guys ever stop hareasing folks, because your aggressive car salesmen tactics actually turn people off. If anyone from Flexpoint calls, texts, or emails me again, I will be filing a harrasment case with the Attorney General of CA, and that's a promise!

As a result loan processed began August 4, 2020 & basically paperwork/ evaluation done in just three weeks eventually loan funded & completed in five weeks.
