    I have been with Fitzsimons Credit Union for over 4 yrs and Ive had nothing but good things to say about this bank. I could not believe all the bad reviews I saw online. I have worked with Kevin, and Ana, Mayra at the front and my experience has always been a very positive one. Refinanced my home and they were extremely kind by helping me understand the process and were very responsive to my emails. I have referred this bank to my friends and family because in every aspect they are better than any big bank out there, and I hear nothing but good things about Fitzsimons, which makes me happy.

    Nothing but terrible experience. For months, the weren’t able to get my online auto payments correct so then they came off as late and it significantly lowered my credit. They never send me anything in the mail when important things come up and the. I will owe a fine for “missing” it. Thoroughly recommend not using them for auto loan.

    This bank has gone so far down hill in the last few years I'm still waiting for a call back from a year and a half ago from when I got in a car accident and needed help. Side note I'm glad you guys stay opened during covid and kept people employed to your best ability please take better care of yourselves ,your customers and employees who stuck it out this long

    I recently switched to Fitzsimons. The account opening process was tedious and slow. They are terrible about replying to messages. I'm now not receiving the interest rate I was promised; this seems deceptive. I reached out to them twice about this and have not heard back. There are many reputable banking options out there who understand the importance of prompt customer service, avoid this one. Update: This has to be THE WORST credit union in all of Denver! They just charged me an NSF fee, even though the funds were in fact... sufficient. This transfer is part of me changing credit unions because this one is the worst! Update 2: This issue still isn't resolved. Nobody here does what they say they are going to do and that is after you spend 20+ minutes waiting to talk to someone on the phone. They have confirmed it was an error on their part (they transposed a number when MANUALLY entering the transfer request in 2022) and the issue still isn't resolved.

    I would like to say that the assistant branch manager Ana Arneros is very professional and caring, amazing person. I would like to se her get the recognition that I believe that she deserves. I have been a member for over 40 years and will continue to do business here because of people like Ana.

    *stars adjusted following changes they made *original review: Raising my review a star because I have never had a bad interaction with any of the tellers/bank employees - both in person and over the phone. However, I should note that even before the pandemic, phone wait times could be ridiculous. Hours of waiting to talk to someone. That said, I have been growing more and more frustrated with this credit union's non-functioning mobile app. For months the touch verification hasn't worked, I can't transfer funds between accounts - and there is no sign it's getting fixed. I'll change my review when the app works again.

    Steer clear of Fitzsimons Credit Union. During the life of my auto loan, it's always been a headache trying to work with Fitzsimmons. Their phones never pick up, and making account changes requires multiple jumps between different representatives because nobody there actually knows what they are doing. Save yourself the time, and money and get a loan from another credit union like Ent Credit Union. After paying off the full balance of my loan, I am now working with the credit reporting agencies to file a dispute against Fitzsimmons. It's been over a month now and they are still showing that I have an open balance on my loan. Again I repeat, steer clear of Fitzsimons. I believe there are good people who work there, but they are overworked are short-staffed because of cooperate greed and therefor their quality of service is greatly compromised.

    This is by far the worst credit union Iv EVER been a member. Their customer service is TERRIBLE! Especially Mario who works in Loss and Prevention was so incredibly rude and short with me when I asked him about my car loan! He should be let go and find a job where he doesn’t have to speak with customers. Iv never heard of a credit union that did not allow you to make advanced loan payments. I payed at least $5000 in advance and they told me I was paid up til April 2022. But I received a threatening letter in the mail saying I missed my 2nd monthly payment and if it happened again my car would be taken and my account put in collections. I called they were confused and said it wouldn’t happen again. The next month I received 3 calls in the space of a day telling me the same thing. I asked if my account had been noted for previous conversations and nothing!Mario tells me to read my contract there’s nothing they will do! When I ask to speak with a manager/supervisor he tells me they are all in a meeting and he doesn’t know when the meeting will be over. I gladly paid my loan that had a maturity date of another 5 years in full (the very next day) just so I could cut all strings with this credit union. BEWARE, read the reviews and save yourself the headache. Never again!

    The credit union called me, on 12/01, to remind me that my car payment was 10 days late, which they had already received, and their software for these transactions had not been working since my due date. They need to get it together, so not to hassle the customer.

    Should we be worried as about this branch closing. So that able to keep staff and now they're closing on days if they're supposed to be open. They were closed Friday 4-22 and now Saturday morning April 23. I am concerned

    They will steal thousands of dollars from you. Then block you from all of your account access. Then never answer the phone when you do call. I am on day 3 of waiting on "hold" for 8 hours with no one actually picking up. If you decide to use this bank make sure you have a lawyer on hand to deal with all the shananigans this bank will put you through. They have until the end of the week to answer me before my lawyer does get involved. Will update how that goes to help the others that have been taken advantage of that need a resolution from this sad excuse of a company.

    There is absolutely nothing professional about this bank. I'm in the process of switching to Chase Bank -- that's how bad it's gotten at Fitzsimons. The phone number (303 and 1-800) doesn't even work half the time! The online banking system is down most of the time. The entire place is just backwards. I'd rather pay a bank a monthly fee and get better service.

    The worst bank to be with no communication with anybody I have been refinancing my vehicle for 4 months now nobody returns phone calls everybody’s voicemails are completely full. And no one has any answers ever. Definitely do not recommend getting with better business bureau as well.

    Great Bank, but being limited to drive through options without an appointment in 2022 is just silly. They are then only bank you can't just walk into and handle business. Don't know what the logic is, but it's super inconvenient

    I should have left this CU after they screwed up our directions for a travel ATM card and nearly stranded us overseas without access to our funds. But not having staff during the lunch hour (probably the busiest time for a bank) because they haven't properly staffed up is unforgivable. You are not a bank/FCU if you cannot provide basic services when people need it the most. We will be closing our accounts within a week.

    The management the employees are all trash close this Bank fire everybody turn their building into a daycare center for the workers over in that area they have remained closed offer no help and have the worst customer service skills I’ve ever witnessed I hope to hear from the upper management about this I hate this credit union

    Really bad customer service and now they never have a live teller in the lobby (Southland) to help customers, claiming what many businesses are claiming now days, they are understaffed. I will be closing this account for sure. One more thing, I have payroll direct deposit and my funds are not available until 8 am on pay day.

    People worst place to go bank app I don’t know how they continue having this bank open worst customer service especially when it comes to a loan you apply and they never get back to you and when you get back to them they just come and tell you I don’t know where all you denied worst worst worst place to bank I went to a different credit union didn’t ask too many questions and they approved me for three things that I had applied at this credit union. Don’t waste your time at the Fitzsimmons credit Union Think twice before you come here and plus employees look at you like if they were more than you honestly I don’t know how they maintain open😢

    By far the worst credit union to deal with. Customer service is absolutely horrible they don’t know what they are doing half the time and when I called to see why my car payment went up almost doubling they were extremely rude even the branch manager had a horrible attitude and was rude.
