Sherman at FitzGerald made the overwhelming seem manageable! He provided helpful lists of what extra documents were needed and when, summarized the inspection so we could make needed improvements, and even gave us directions to the right title building for closing. Appreciate all he did!

Do not use Donnie Reyes as a mortgage loan officer, working with Donnie was a nightmare. I never leave negative reviews, but I never want anyone to experience what I went through. I put an offer in on a condo and Donnie waited until the last week to finalize the offer letter for the client. He had me fill out paperwork for 3 weeks, but he did not submit any of it until the last week. Then he came back to me requesting over 20 documents from me as if closing wasn’t a couple days away. We even had to ask the homeowner selling the condo to give us an extension for his negligence. When I have asked him what was going on, he continued to tell me that this is a normal process. I almost lost the condo I put an offer down for, even after pushing the date back. He then began asking for more paperwork almost as if he did not want to get the property. He did a very extensive background check, asked for things likes my college degree, checks that I had earned while I was working in school, and even any scholarship grants that I received while playing football in college. The crazy part about all of this is that I had been out of college for almost three years and working a full time, where he required my pay stubs for that as well. He even asked me to provide documentation because my girlfriend had transferred 100 dollars to me. I reached out to another mortgage loan officer, and they said they had never heard anything like that before. Again, I never leave bad reviews, but I would never want anyone to work with this mortgage loan officer again and have this traumatic experience.

Over the last 7 months, Natalie has worked with us to finance our dream home. She is extremely attentive and her interpersonal skills are second to none. She's a great communicator and was able to quickly close on a VA in record time during the pandemic and unpredictable housing market. We are very grateful to have her on our team. Don't be lulled in by low interest rate loan companies on the Internet. They take your information and sometimes your money and then nothing happens. Check the Better Business Bureau about them. We got our loan closed in less than two months start to finish which is very fast considering the times (interest rates and the pandemic). Cannot recommend him and his company highly enough.
