I cant comment on the company because I've not had too much direct interaction outside of Dana. However, the timeliness and responsiveness is exceptional especially with the underwriting department. The app is very user friendly and helpful keeping up with the status. I especially love the direct upload feature. We used Alex Nunemaker when we originally purchased our house in 2015 when he was with a different financial institution and our experience with him was so nice that when we decided to refinance in 2020 we made sure we took our business to FitzGerald so we could work with Alex again. Alex was an amazing lender for my VA loan. My past experiences always had issues the closer to closing we got. Not with Alex. I was in constant communication with him, expecting for something to be a major issue at the last moment. No issue ever came (on my end at least). FFG also use an app for the loan process which is quick to set up and easy to use. Anything Alex needed, he would contact us by phone and/or email then direct us on where to complete the process on the app. Finally, he was able to estimate with pretty great accuracy what our closing costs, and monthly mortgage would be broken down by what we would put down vs what our mortgage rate would be. If Alex is still around when I go to purchase a home again, I plan on going through him.
