    I have been banking with First Light since 2007. They have always taken care of family and I when we needed them the most. We have financed several car with them with great rates even if one of those was one of my first cars. I helped my daughter open credit there and she still bank there too. So over all this has been my bank for me and my family. Give it a try you will feel the same way I do in the long run they are always there for you.

    I love FirstLight Federal Credit Union! I only gave it four stars because sometimes, the wait at the drive through is extremely long. Other than that, the service has been great!

    The tellers are THE BEST. Make me feel like I am THE only customer when I get to the drive thru or the desk. I know they try to save you money in so many ways because they have told me about products /services /and rates that may cause them to profit less and save me more.

    When I was employed as ateacher, I had my salary sent to FLCU. I was almost always very happy with their service. Then I refused to take the stupid vaccine and lost my job and no longer get a paycheck. I use my husband's account now

    Should change name to “First Slight” of many. Where do I start? The excessive fees without warning, the measly interest rate scraps, or the fact that you’ll be on hold for 5 hours to get a new debit card. Don’t even get me started on the poor in-person customer service. I left running. Save yourself the pain and hassle. Choose Nusenda or FirstFinancial. Some New Mexico centered credit unions.

    First time asking for a personal loan and FirstLight was able to help me. The busy holiday season has me work a lot and didn’t have time to go in. I was able to do it all over the phone and online and with the FirstLight app which made it smooth and easy. The staff there are friendly, professional and understanding which was contagious. I highly recommend anyone to do business there. So over all my experience with FirstLight was amazing. I never do Google reviews but I appreciate them so much that I had to . Hopefully if anyone out there ever needs help and wants to know if it’s worth it to try let me tell you it’s painless, easy what I love is they have auto with draws for your payments so set and forget it.

    This was wonderful experience. I was very excited to use televised tellers. You have the option of speaker, or use of telephone for private conversations or use of your headphones. I was able to deposit my checks and cash and coin into my account easily at the teller. And let me tell you about the hours of operation with this, they stay open till 8:30 pm!! That's very convenient for a commuter like me. Oh if you get stuck during regular hours they have actual people there to help you too.

    Everything was great with the virtual except for the computer kept on freezing up which made the process or my transaction take long. That was quite irritating because I had to keep looking for a bank representative to come and help me out. In the end, she had to finish up the transaction. The virtual would be nice if you can get the kinks out of the process and make it a lot smoother so it can be an in band out process. Over an hour, I feel is way too long just to open up two savings accounts. But overall, I still love banking with FirstLight Federal Credit Union.

    I have been with First Light for about 13 years now, they have always been there for me when I needed them. They have financed about two vehicles for when nobody wanted to give me the time of day. I helped my daughter start opening up her credit there when she was starting out, to me this is the bank I turn to when I need financial help.

    This bank did not honor a legally created Power of Attorney, and they have policy that states as much. I came back 3 times with documentation. The 4th time, I will come with my mother and we will remove her and my money from this crooked institution that think it is above the law.

    We walked in to open a new a count. We were welcomed and given the different options for opening an account. We chose to use one of the offices on site set up for video conference. The process was quick and easy.

    Get some more drive up tellers!! It's ridiculous to have to wait 30-45 minutes to deposit or cash a check!!! I'm ready to just move to a bank that is better staffed.

    I use the bill pay feature every month. Once it is set up with the names and addresses of the people you want to send money to, it is very quick and easy. If I should ever have a problem with it, the staff is very friendly and helpful, Both on the phone and in person. I have a line of credit and a credit card and the interest rates are very good. I have financed cars with 1st light and they set everything up With approved credit before I went to the dealership. It made buying a car very easy. I have been a member there since the early seventies when they were known as the Dona Ana County Teacher's Credit Union. They have always taken good care of me

    Transferred in an Ira. Had to make appt to sign the authorization to transfer from another institution. Employee first told to go through the other institution. Then when I told her she was wrong she had to call to see what form to use. I signed the form 2/2/22 and it was mailed to El Paso. Received a call from another employee saying they got the funds and I needed to sign another form. That was 3/1/22. The money was finally deposited into my existing Ira on 3/3/22. Yesterday I called to check on it since it wasn’t reflected on my acct. They couldn’t find who had the check. The person I spoke to tried to reach the Ira area but no one responded. It seems Ira’s are not a strong suit for the CU….
