Best loan experience ever!! The mortgage banker at First Bank, Joshua Plemmons was very professional and knowledgeable. He kept me informed with my loan every step of the way. He was always available if I had a question or request and made things go very smoothly. It was great to have someone local that I could talk to face to face and know that he had my best interest at heart. We ended up getting to close on the loan two weeks earlier than expected, had a lower interest rate than we thought and received more cash back than we had planned for. The closing costs were about $1000 less than my current mortgage company and rocket mortgage had offered me. I would recommend Joshua Plemmons and First Bank to anyone who needs a mortgage loan! Jeremy made this process way worse than it could have been. My mortgage process was started over 60 days before I was planning on closing and three weeks before closing I was told I never qualified for a usda loan and only qualified for fha. So three weeks before closing the whole process had to start over and we barely finished in time. This was not the first issue, we had problems getting jeremy to be clear about what we needed to send him. I thought we had everything he needed and then three weeks before the loan was to be finished he gave me a list of new things sending us into a scramble. Even in the beginning I thought we had our interest rate locked in then weeks later he called to tell me we needed to lock it in still. I would never recommend him to anyone, thats for sure.
