FirstBank Veterans Memorial Hwy, Scottsville

I went to cash a check from a FirstBank member and they demanded my fingerprints and social security number to cash it because I'm not a member. I have never had to do that anywhere and felt like it was some kind of government or police shakedown. When I asked what was up, an employee whom I wasn't speaking with butted in and said it wasn't their fault it was the new company. I told her I was gonna pass the word along about this. She said her nor FirstBank cared because I'm not a member. Terrible service! This was the branch bank on Old Gallatin Road.

Have called two times to get a payoff amount, not one return call.

Their website clearly states drive thru opens at 7 am. My husband made a point to go there Monday at 7. No one there! They have small choices of loan options now that they changed names. I deposited money via mobile deposit. It took 2 days to appear in account when I asked tellers at local bank they had no idea and could not see deposit even tho I had an email confirmation it was received. Teller said he would check into it and call me back. I never heard from him. Farmers National sold out to First Bank and is no longer a hometown caring bank.

Been here for several yrs. Always friendly, helpful, and honest.
