This credit union is a joke. Tried to call to discuss an issue related to a trip and keeping my account open and serviceable and these clowns will call me back the next business day. I’ve been a member for over 30 years and their customer service is lower than a snakes belly. We should all close our accounts until they provide a reasonable level of service. I can get better service from a corner loan shark. Unbelievable. The executives who lead this company should gang themselves for their mismanagement and degrading of the once great service to their members.

First Tech helped with an auto loan refinance. The process was fast and easy. Jose was very helpful and personable.

This is the best bank that I've ever worked with with very great customer service good perks on loans and they do a very thorough job helping out with any of your needs. No ridiculous fees on their services. Very knowledgeable staff. Of the many banks I've had their quality of service far surpasses any others.

I've been with First Tech F. C. U. since they been at the HP site, and before that with Addison Avenue and before that. I'm retired from HP and seldom need to go on site but the few times I've gone in my issues were resolved quickly and painlessly. Since I can use ATMs from a variety of Co-Op Surcharge free ATMs I never have issue getting cash. If I do use an normal bank ATM my charges are reimbursed if I meet the condition set out. I'm quite happy

I love First Tech Credit Union (Boise) We have been with them for years. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I highly recommend banking here.

I have banked with this bank for over 30 years and I am moving my accounts to another credit union. Their "technology" is very frustrating and unhelpful. I want to be able to deal with people when I need to.

I had a checking account at the Springfield Oregon branch, which is now closed. I owed FirstTech two hundred dollars. They charged me for fees that they could have rejected from taking out. Instead they let the companies still try to pull and charged me 28.00 dollars each time. Therefore I went into negatives just for the companies trying to pull. I waited to talk to an associate on the phone for at least twenty minutes every time I called. They said they were always having phone problems. My old rental company never cashed my cashiers check. It took First Tech two months to figure it out out and then they took my money. Never sent an email or mailed me anything. Stay far away from this corrupt credit union!!!

After 20 years we closed our accounts. Their customer service has gone in the toilet. This was a great place to bank for years. Way too many bad experiences in the past few years. Hold times to speak to customer service are insanely long. Good riddance.

Stupidity doesn't begin to describe... Their customer service department says one thing and the bankers/tellers say something else. I can never get a straight story. My issues are very rarely ever resolved. They have waisted my time due to their inability to keep their stories in line more times than I care to count. My accounts are being cancelled on Wednesday - I cannot handle one more lengthy, uninformed conversation with them.

This has been my financial institution for 20+ years. I LOVE the friendly staff, and the no-fee checking. The only problem is that this is the only branch in all of Idaho. But, with direct deposit and shared branching, that doesn't matter much to me.
