I recently sent a (blind) email to First State Investment Advisors looking for a financial services position in Tulsa. I immediately received a call back from Sid. Sid took the time to brainstorm for possible positions within his own firm and provided insight from his many years of experience in the financial services arena. I was very impressed with Sid's willingness to help me in such a personal way. I would definitely trust his investment advice and recommendations. As the saying goes, "Actions speak louder than words" . Sid's actions showed he really cares about people and wants to help others.

My husband and I came into looking for knowledgeable Investment Advisors. I had done quite a bit of looking at reviews before contacting First State. I made one phone call and Sid answered the phone. He asked me a series of questions. Which was leading to see if he could help me or if I wasn't the right client for him. My husband and I made an appointment with Sid and Matt and they were truly a blessing! They are both down to earth and talked to us in terms where would could understand it. I would would recommend them to anyone.

I accompanied my mother, Lenora, to meet Sid and Matt. She had previously interviewed 10 investment advisors to no avail, but when we talked with Sid and Matt, that was all it took. My mother felt comfortable turning over her investments to them. We were impressed with their straightforward method of investing. I talked to Sid on the phone and I could not have asked for better customer service. He broke things down for me so I could easily understand it. He walked me through what I need to do to get a Roth IRA started, and explained that what we really need is a financial planner. He was very honest and said that he doesn't do that anymore but he really like me and is going to look into getting the software so he can help me and my husband. Tulsa peeps, who does that?! I called Matt for help with my company sponsored 401b payout upon retirement when the investment program managers made it too difficult to understand how to start receiving my retirement. Matt listened to what I had to say and he actually called the investment company with me to try to get some answers. I left his office with a plan and a better understanding of my path forward. Matt followed up with me several weeks later to see how I was doing, and Sid also spent some time on the phone with me to make sure I was in a good spot. Matt and Sid went beyond to help me with something for which they did not benefit at all. I am so thankful to have had First State Investment work for me.

Called to ask if they could help me with securing my children’s financial future and spent almost an hour with them on the phone! I was given free advice on how to help build my children’s savings as well as how to maximize my wife’s and my retirement. Matt and Sid are very knowledgeable in stocks and investing. They take the time to walk you through the steps to investing. I moved my 401K without any prior knowledge or experience. Because a 401K company talked philosophy, so not thinking about whether this was a good idea. I fell for it. Sid has spent may hours with me educating me over the phone, how to talk the talk with investors. As well as Matt has implemented very good advice. As well as educated me about the current situation taking place with my portfolio. I have to tackle the situation I got myself in, a shark mentality, when dealing with bad investors. Finally the money came through. It took 2 months to get because the phantom investor I had did not want to do his job. Thankfully Matt was able to convince him, that selling the metals was the right thing to do. Sid has worked very hard behind the scenes, because the company I put my money in is very shady. Now they are working on getting the rest of the funds back into my account.
