Decided to open an account with a local bank instead of the big banks but got worse service/attention from these folks. Spent over an hour with a rep and turned over a ton of sensitive personal and business documents. After 3 weeks never heard back from them. I followed up and the woman I sat with originally said she would get back to me...another 8 weeks later they haven't even bothered to call me back. Not worth the waste of time...

My call came from him saying my mail was returned for being homeless I came here pregnant an not homeless trying to cash a personal check in my name via harvest home shelter for pregnant women show how much they don't like black people while galsons takes EBT there they new I was on walfare to open the account it wasn't about homeless I had my dad's address it's about race Thanks that what I closed the account for The color of my skin

"Relationship" based banking is a loose term for subjective banking. This bank wasted a couple weeks of precious time while I was in limbo to open an important checking account. After giving me the run-around, the account was ultimately denied. I don't care much for this denial, but the manner in which it was handled was extremely poor and I think it's wiser to go for another bank if you can.

I have been banking with First Republic for several years and their customer service is TOP NOTCH! I started banking with First Republic because of Josh Rogge. He is phenomenal. He is available and willing to help at anytime and he knows how to get things done quickly and correctly. Most recently, I know that First Republic is working tirelessly to help with customers with applications for PPP. While the "big banks" are having problems getting this done, people like Richard Chan and Josh Rogge and the entire staff at First Republic are working tirelessly for their customers!

Kyle and Jessie are true professionals. Very impressed with their attention to detail and ambiance of this location. Looking forward to future banking endeavors.

As with all professionals at FRB, it was great to work with Calder Sokolow involving an out of state car purchase. While not a transaction for the business which has an account with FRB, he jumped in to help me solve a problem that could have taken several hours out of my day, but he resolved it in 15 minutes. Much appreciated, Calder!
