First New Mexico Bank S Gold Ave, Deming

We have had a account with this bank for 12 years but since covid has come it is almost impossible to due business here. I called this morning to see if a rotary was available and was told yes com in between 9 and 3. (Bankers hours) When I got there all the doors are locked with a sign you need a appointment. The Bank across the street is open for normal business. It's time to move my money

If you are used to all the apps and bells and whistles your online banking gives you, then stay there. If you want good, personal service, come to First New Mexico Bank. The personal are helpful, but discrete; friendly, but not assuming. This is NOT a mega bank. It’s just a small town-feel bank. Of the three photos above, the middle photo is where I’ve been a few times. It is lovely inside with its open floor plan.

This is from the President, Teresa Molina all the way down.They do NOT return calls! Anyone of them that I have dealt with there do not return calls, ok, maybe 1 out of 6. They do not respond to emails. Bank questions are apparently too difficult to answer. This isn't isolated, this is an evident widespread culture of this bank.

They have the PLUS symbol on there Columbus ATM but it refused to give me money. It told me that the problem was with my bank and then my bank said the request was never made. Later the 1st Bank of NM manager said they had recently changed their policy and I had tried to take out to much money as a non customer. I said then the ATM machine should have told me that. They just got idocratic saying why do you live in Columbus and not have an account with us since we are the only bank there?

We moved to Deming 5 years. We would recommend this bank. We have had not 1 problem with 1st New Mexico Bank. They are very friendly, nice & do a great professional job. We will continue to bank with them as long as we can.

It is the main business bank in town. Multi cultural and multi lingual tellers and banking systems. Great civic minded establishment. Up to date and modern, both with their at the desk customer service, as well with their online services. They are willing and able to do what it takes for the individual person, as well as the individual business owners and their clients. Their just what a big little town bank should look like. Full disclosure, I have most of my accounts here, moved my moms account here, and even moved a local business account here. Can you tell, I like this bank.

Everyone at First New Mexico Bank are pleasant and supportive. The Southwestern ambiance of the bank gives one much to observe while they do there banking. The bank is clean. The overall experience at the First New Mexico bank is positive!

went there at 3 30 pm in the afternoon on a Friday, hello they were closed even though there hrs posted were till 6pm this is not the lawless land of mexico , this is AMERICA there ARE laws , federal laws, you have to stay open till your posted hrs are expired I am going all the way to the top ,this is unacceptable
