Making your first mortgage payment shouldn't be so confusing. The letter telling me my payment was due was dated the day before my due date. There were three different phone numbers provided so I called the number it said to call if I needed assistance and made my payment. 3 weeks later I get an email stating my payment hadn't been made. I made the payment using the phone number provided if I needed assistance. Now my first payment is late because the information on the goodbye letter was not clear.

Wish I could say enough nice things about Yvonne and her team on this page, but there's not enough space. They bent over backwards for us, working from different time zones, different states, probably over a 14-month period to get construction loan financing on a new build. (The 14 months was our fault, not theirs.) They made the process simple and effortless and walked us thru each step. And I say this having been thru almost a half-dozen closings since 2012. First rate operation, hands-down.

This bank has allowed their partner builder Calais Custom Homes to take draws from my construction loan account and not release the money to the subs awaiting payment. These subs have subsequently filed liens on my property and the bank refuses to take action as they should per the contract. I have emailed Naomi whom heads that dept to help resolve and she has ignored all email communications.

Yvonne and first National were amazing to work with. They gave me great advice to raise my credit score 80+ points. They answered all my questions and were always accessible. We had had a nightmare experience with Wells Fargo previously and this place totally redeemed that.
