First National Bank Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg

I went through the drive thru to cash a check. First off it took forever and when I counted the money, it was $4 short. Ya, it was only $4 but I'm not going to lose money because of someone else's mistake. After waiting for the teller to help me, I had to wait for them to pull the tape, recount, and send me the $4 I was shorted the first time. I feel like just asking them to send me all the rest of my account so I can take it somewhere that takes better care of my money (and values my time).

I'm giving this bank 1 star - because you can't give it zero. They close before a working person can get there after work. Even their drive through is closed by 4pm. I waited on line for over 20 minutes yesterday for "customer service" and over 10 minutes again today. I never got to speak to a live person. I want to get cash out of my account, and cannot get enough through the ATM, and cannot get a response from the bank regarding scheduling an appointment or how I can otherwise get my money. When this bank was Commerce, they cared about their customers. Unfortunately, they no longer do.

I’ve been banking at this location for 30 years. With the various changes this financial institution has experienced I feel they’re doing their best. Customer service changes frequently at the branch levels with no issues as far as I’m concerned. Online banking is what most everyone has gone to. Going to the local branch is almost never. I do have one complaint and that’s ATM fees with none FNB ATM machines. The ATM FEE PLUS FNB $2.75 on each ATM transaction is not acceptable.

It is December 4th and I have been waiting since September 29th to receive a new debit card. This is ridiculous!

Will never go back to this bank service is terrible and the manager is not much better. When you tell a teller 3 times and she still does it wrong that pretty bad and then the manager backs the teller thats even worst!!! Really don't trust my money with this bank. I will start looking I hear Credit Unions are better!!

I stopped at this branch today for the first time. Was a horrible experience. I had 1 car ahead of me and waited 20 minutes! To top it off she told me my deposit was incorrect. My cash was fine but my checks were wrong. My adding of my checks was off over 100.00! The machine said so! I asked for my checks back and added it again, the machine was wrong! Why did she not just add my 5 checks herself to see who was correct, the customer or the machine. Thankfully I didnt just say ok to the machines addition.

I have been going to this branch since they were commerce bank ( witch was the best bank) and stayed even when they changed to metro bank. First National is the WORST bc the hours are extremely inconvenient!! What bank closes so early during the weekends and closes later during the week right around the time most folks get out of work? Lol it’s an introverted bank 😂 takes your money but hates seeing you or talking to you. Looking for a better bank at this point.👋🏻

This place has horrible customer service. The teller refers you to customer service people there and then the customer service people refer you to the manager who isn’t available and can’t help you anyway. Waited for a call back from a manager and nothing was resolved. I would NOT recommend this bank to anyone. This place is a joke. I switched back to my credit union where I had nothing but exceptional service. I will give up convenience for better service. I should have looked at the reviews for this bank before opening an account here, doesn’t look like they have many good ones.

The staff is totally rude. They act like they are doing you a favor by waiting on you. The last time I was there he girl made a face when I asked her a simple question. This bank has definitely gone down hill since it was taken over by fnb. Their hours suck!!

Now I know why this place has such a low rating all I wanted to do was pull out some money cash or check for a rent payment I was told because I forgot my ID / wallet at the house I could not get any of MY money out of my account I was told they would let me take $100 out and that’s it so I asked can I verify address social account numbers ect I just wana pay rent I was told sorry this is what I’m being told by management then I asked if I could speak to them nope I was refused help I was told they were busy they would call me back so I went to another location and received amazing help and was able to access my money that I was told I couldn’t funny how 2 different locations owned by the same company react totally different
