First Midwest Bank Columbia Ave, Hammond

Told me I wasn’t allowed to do a money order by the lady at the drive through today without coming in despite me doing one at this branch like 4 days prior. Not sure I’ll stay with first Midwest they seem to be making my life inconvenient plus all the maintenance fees. Last week I spent like 10 mins waiting for someone at the drive through. I gave up and went to a different branch. First Midwest is neither a large bank like chase that you can rely on outside the region nor is is apparently a good local bank.

very upset because i was in the window line for maybe 10 to 15 min just to get checks. then when it's my turn at the window i was told i had to go inside to get checks. i asked why n her response is thats how they do things. so i asked what did i need to get them she said my ID so if that's all i need n shes looking at me what is the difference for her to just give me the checks while she's looking at me at the window because I was at the very first front window what is the difference if I go in or not they're asking for the same thing and I still have to see a teller. im pregnant and i get up at 4:30 in the morning the last thing i want to do is go inside a bank after getting off my shift. i just want to pull up to the window get what I need to get and go.

Linda--an Asian lady who works there-- is very nice and friendly to customers. Very good service.

My dad has been banking here for 20 years. I started managing his accounts when he got sick. They are CONSTANTLY debiting his account 2ce for the same payment. One debit when pending and one when complete. One time $300 vanished with zero transaction history. They really could care less about their customers when you call to solve an issue. Its in their nation wide policy to not protect their customers accross the board. Also they are constantly having technical errors with their app. Trying to maintain the longstanding bank account for credit reasons. Dropping this bank as soon as I can! Actually got charged twice AGAIN today. There is almost no point in calling because they wont fix it...but here goes nothing.

This is my bank. I love it. The employees are great. Anytime I need help with snything Alicia Pantoja is there with a smile.
