    Rick Anderson with First Internet Bank was the the most attentive person I've ever dealt with regarding my refi. He was able to extend & hold my rate at 3% for almost 2 months while I waiting for personal & business documentation. If he wasn't so attentive I would've ended up at close to 5%. That would've raised my payment $450 monthly $5,000 annually & $150,000 for the life of the loan. If you don't use Rick you're only hurting yourself!!

    I've had FIB for 7-8 years. HIGHLY recommended. Excellent customer service. Accessible people. No one reading to you off some bureaucratic script when you call in. No automated bologna or bots if you email the bank with a concern. Everyone has always been very "human" (not hiding behind policies, not rushing you, treating you the way they'd like to be treated). You can't beat the free checking either. I wish I had switched the First Internet sooner.

    For an online bank they are not user friendly within their site. We use BOA also and their site is amazingly user friendly. FIB you need to step up your and make your site user friendly!!!!!! Then you would be an amazing bank!

    I would give 0 stars if I could. I had a very negative experience with First Internet Bank. I was denied a Money Market Savings Account for reasons they refused to divulge or allow me to address, other than to say it was related to "potential fraud" (I suspect it was due to a recent name change following a divorce). Furthermore, DESPITE DENYING MY APPLICATION, THEY STILL PROCEEDED WITH TRANSFERING THE FUNDS FROM MY REGULAR BANK! When I complained and told them I wanted my money returned immediately, they said they could not do so, that it would take 1 to 2 business days. The money finally showed back up in my account 4 business days later. So beware, if your application for an account is denied, they won't tell you why, and they will still take your money!

    This is very shady bank. i have tried to open a cd account and they refused to open without any explanation. I called their customer service and they also have no reason for denying and told me to open account at another Bank. I do not recommend this bank to anyone looking for a reliable banking experience.

    Nikko at First Internet Bank was great and responsive throughout the whole process. There’s not anything I was guessing about through the whole process and communication was always quick. Would no doubt use him again, and was very happy with the mortgage rates and terms with FIB. Would have zero hesitation to use them again in the future

    I filled out an application and they denied to give me a checking account. If you don't want my money, I cant help you. This isn't an application for a credit card, it's an application for a checking account. Is it that hard???? I also ordered a copy of my Chex consumer report to check it and its 100% clean and in order, as expected, so there really is no reason to deny me an account other than incompetence. Terrible business.

    This is our second time working with FIB and Greg Potter on a refinance. We went back because our first experience with them was really great - and our second was the same. Greg is super helpful, very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He is great at answering questions and explaining the process. Everyone at FIB was professional and responsive. Both refis went smoothly from start to finish. Would certainly work with them again. Highly recommend.

    The process was very easy. I shopped around for a while on a refinance and First Internet Bank came back with a good interest rate and very low fees. With other lenders I spoke with the fees were very high on similar rates. Communication was great throughout the process. The document upload portal worked very well and all the paperwork before the closing was handled easily through the portal. We did the closing at our own house on a date and time that we chose. The closing took about 45 minutes with no surprises.

    We researched for the best interest rates and lowest closing costs and best customer ratings and located First Internet Bank filled the bill on all counts. We worked with Brian Warden and could not be happier with the process and outcomes. He was always available to answer our questions and there were not surprises along the way. Closing was arranged at our home and took less that an hour! We refinanced from a 30 year fixed rate loan with 21 years remaining to a 15 year fixed rate loan with a lower interest rate. We will pay off in 6 fewer years and our payment remained the SAME!!! This was a great financial decision for us and will save us lots of money for sure! I can not say enough about how easy this was to accomplish with Brian Warden guiding us through the process.

    This will be the 3rd or 4th trailer that we have financed through First IB. The process has always been smooth, efficient, fast and super easy. The rates always beat our local banks and it's just so easy!!! Brandon Connor is who helped me this time and he was very knowledgeable, helpful and answered my emails or calls quickly. He was a great help to our dealer that had never done an online/out of state purchase as well. Highly recommended!!

    This is my THIRD refi with Kathy Ray and the team at First Internet Bank in Fishers, IN. I live in San Francisco and my properties are here, too. I found First Internet a few years ago when checking rates on Bankrate.com -- their rates was excellent, so I gave them a call. I wasn't even sure if I had to use a bank located in CA to refi a CA property -- turns out I didn't. needed to split a mortgage on a property that had originally been purchased with a co-owner as a TIC (tenancy-in-common) that we had later legally converted to 2 condos. Most lenders either didn't want to hear about it or seemed to stupid to even understand what we needed to do. IN fact, the first person I called was my previous mortgage broker i my hometown of Palo Alto. Even though we had to refi both mortgages at the same time to "split" them -- a total of about $900,000 to refi -- he didn't seem to think that amount was barely worth the time to return my call (and we'd gotten along just fine, so not a personal issue). Hey, if these guys are too fat and happy to care -- let's just share the wealth with the midwest, eh? I can tell you that in other parts of this country, mortgage brokers will be THRILLED to have you call them for help on a $900,000 refi! Due to my personal situation, the loan to turned out to be much more complicated -- NO fault of First Interstate. Kathy is a highly professional and experienced and knowledgeable financial professional. She KNOWS her business. She ended up having to put a LOT of time and effort into making it happen and was so available, responsive and pleasant to deal with through it all. The next time I needed to refi, I thought it was only fair to try to "pay her back" and give her the first shot. Much as I liked and appreciated Kathy, I wasn't about to pay more just to do business with her -- but sure enough, the refi she was able to offer matched the other 3 places we checked. We needed to take cash out of our home this time -- and Kathy was our first call. Again, we did "due diligence" but once again, the total package that FIB was able to offer was as good as the best of the others, and knowing the excellent service we had received the last two times from Kathy, there was no question about who to go with. The name is odd -- but don't hesitate to do business with First Interstate Bank. We couldn't have had better service.

    Our business (The Christmas Stand LLC) had applied to have a business checking account with this company. Their internal team should do an audit of their processes, as we were not dealt with fairly and with integrity. As our company grows we wanted a bank partner that we felt would align with our incentives financially and with their business values. This company lacks integrity in every extent and I would never suggest others to do business with them. What a shame considering that we were going to keep the bulk of our business with them at one point.

    Chris Lawson and his team have helped us buy our house and refinance our house now in the past three years. Chris was very helpful and informative in everything that had to do with the home buying and refinancing process. Some of the home buying terminology and finances can be a bit challenging, but he helped explain the whole process.     First Internet Bank of Indiana is a great place to get mortgage product. I usually get my mortgage refinancing done with them when interest rate drops. They have awesome deals at market rate and they deliver what they promose. I will go to them again when rates drop.
