First Hawaiian Bank University Branch S King St, Honolulu

Been standing in line for a while.. had checked on line as it said live and not to busy!! Yeah right 3 tellers helping 1 lady !! And nobody is going anywhere!! I was #13!!!

Everytime I go to this bank there is a long line because there are not enough workers. One lady walked up to me said there is 10 minute wait and she was not helping anyone. Always understaffed here makes me so sad

This is where I opened my business account 2 years ago. Very helpful, fast and friendly service. Today 3 deposits, 2 cashier checks made .. all within 7 minutes!! Thank you Zara and Michelle for providing excellent customer service!!

Long lines with only 2 tellers and yet they got rid of the drive through teller

Worst bank ever. Reactivated a CANCELLED line of credit, then charged me an annual fee, sent the bill to the old address on file from before I cancelled the line. Then sent me in as delinquent. For a $35 bogus annual fee, they ruined my credit score for years.

2 tellers, line of 8 5 other employees sitting around. What does it take for the bank to put more tellers to use when there is a line growing

First off I have an account here.I recently went in to have a Cashiers Check made the teller local guy with glasses starts the process then the teller next to him a young girl gets his attention and both are looking at this guy walking out and the girl says bye, the teller doing my check loses his place on what he is doing. he finally gets it done ,lets me walk out without my change. I drive off and have to come back for my change. Now i go to the King and Pensecola branch for Cashiers Checks, lot more professional there. On Nov. 2, about 10:45 AM, I go to the drive up teller, I say good morning the girl wont even look up, she just slams the drawer open, since there are no cars I say maybe I can do two transactions, 1 pay off my Mastercard balance, 2 deposit a check. she still does not say anything just glares at me, like she is having a bad hair day.She does the transactions and slams the drawer open and says NEXT TIME ONLY ONE TRANSACTION, I say thanks she glares at me like I shot her dog or something. I drive off feeling that her rudeness was uncalled for, and this is the second time I have run into this person at the window I think. I should probably just move my account to a different branch and save myself the irritation from the tellers. I still have another story but will post it another time.Too bad the bank does not have a complaint department. Thanks for a sympathetic ear. Calvin Silva

What's to say, it's a major bank, and your "totally free" checking will cost 12 bucks a year.
