Be aware the 'available' balance on-line vs 'being processed external transfers does NOT included the transfer. Only on a debit transaction will it show the transfer amount subtracted from available funds. Love the staff but the on-line procedures are not consumer friendly for those not running a ledger system on the account.

Aloha, These guys are the good guys. This is a great bank that doesn't treat people like they are just another number to the corporation or another gear in the machine. I had to use the restroom and they actually let me. Shocking. Bank of Hawaii would not. That shows me which company is worth doing business with. Every good business worth dealing with has restrooms for their customers. All this place needs is a superficial facelift. I would start by changing the floor from carpet to marble and creating a nice public restroom. Bank of Hawaii won't even let you go to the bathroom. It's time to put your money where your mouth is and support the good guys AKA go to First Hawaiian or a credit union. Mahalo 🤙🏾

Great service and incredibly dedicated staff. I’m glad I chose FHB for my banking needs and this is a great branch. Always found parking immediately and employees were always patient and kind.

Everyone who works at FHB is extremely nice, helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. A big shout out to Jason Y at the Hawaii Kai branch, for helping me out in obtaining documents I needed. He not only thoroughly understood what I needed, he quickly was able to find them and deliver them to me.
