Rough start with a disrespectful teller "helping" a more polite teller. The disrespectful teller made unprofessional decisions that appeared to be made based on my appearance ("we don't know that he's a doctor") when I asked to have my title added to my account. She then tried to cover her behavior by actually finding out the rules? The district manager was helpful in finding a solution; the branch manager appeared to be defensive and in a hurry to get off the phone. Will wait and see if I'll continue to bank here.

Great place to bank. Very friendly staff. Want to especially say Felicia was super helpful and professional with us. We had a few transactions to do and she helped us and was very patient with us. Thank ou for the great service.

We opened our checking and savings accounts June of 2017. We went there because at one time years ago this was a great financial institution when located in Bayard and in Silver on Ranch Club Road, where their staff was always eager and happy to help their customers. We know people come and go as many have retired but it seems that this new batch really does not know the meaning of “true customer service” as I say this for many reasons. At the time of opening we were told that with our debit card we could not exceed more than 12 ATM withdrawals per quarter with out a fee and that every withdrawal fee from a foreign ATM would be credited back to our account. Well guess what? Since opening our accounts June of 2017, we have only used our card at two foreign ATMs and have been charged a fee from the host bank($3.00) along with a fee from our credit union($1.25). So I called the customer service center in Albuquerque to get these fees reimbursed to be told that because I had not gone into my account online at least once per month and also, that I had not used our card for purchases at least 12 times during the month they could not and would not reimburse these fees ($8.50 total). So to all of this, we say goodbye!!

Paid off an auto loan at First Financial Credit Union (formerly Chino Federal Credit Union) and this bank has yet to give me my title. It's been over six weeks. No late payments- this loan was actually paid off two years early. Every time I call to check on it, I am told to keep waiting. I will never do business with this bank again. Chino Federal Credit Union operated much more smoothly and efficiently. Ever since the switch to First Financial it has been a mess.

I received great fast personalized service. Special help in my having filled out a form incorrectly.

My initial review was seen by the branch manager and he personally called me to correct the issue. The main issue I had was fixed and I was refunded. I highly recommend by passing the ABQ customer service personnel and speaking directly to someone at the branch. Ryann- I called this morning trying to explain that a company was pulling out an unauthorized amount and I had resolved the issue with the company, that the refund will be posted. Just over $300 will be placed back into my account. I told the agent that this amount being pulled had caused my account to have non sufficient funds but because the NSF fees were due to the other transactions, I will not be refunded the fees. The agent also stated something about me using my first time refunds last year. That instance was the same issue but I wasn’t aware that they only give refunds once.

We have used this bank for over a year now. At first they were fine. But as time has gone on, they have allowed our account to be overdrawn every payday. We will keep track of our money then come payday we are overdrawn again. So this last payday we tested them. Went in on payday and asked what purchases have gone through. Had 3 out. 2 went through. So I pulled all our money out but kept money in our account to cover our gas purchase plus 20 extra. We have not used our card in 5 days. Went to check on our account. Guess what we are overdrawn 200 dollars. Why? So we will be banking elsewhere.

They have messed up my account so bad. The teller put payments in the wrong account. Didn't post my payments correctly and the bank still made me pay for the tellers mistakes!

The ladies at first financial are terrific.they help me everything.
