My wife and I had a not-so-great experience at a a major bank regarding our first mortgage. Once we decided to sell that home and buy another, our realtor introduced us to David Setters and First Fidelity Mortgage. We shopped a couple of other mortgage options but ultimately could not beat what First Fidelity was able to offer us. David made the process clear and simple as possible for us. When we first bought our home (as first-time home buyers), our realtor highly recommended Matt Ansert at FFM, and we our very happy that we listened to that advice. At closing, even the seller's realtor was impressed by his document preparation and how smoothly the closing process went. With rates currently so low, we recently refinanced our house with Matt as well, who got us locked in on an even better rate with much lower than expected closing costs. Matt has made every aspect of purchasing/refinancing as easy as possible on our end - he has communicated promptly and effectively answered any questions. With our new refinance rate, I doubt there would ever be a reason to adjust the mortgage on this home again. However, if we ever move, Matt and FFM will definitely be who we call.
