I love First Federal of Lakewood. I’ve banked here for over 50 years (I’m currently 84) Officials who work here have gone out of there way to help me take the correct steps with my finances. Also, the interior of the bank is beautiful, especially at Christmas time. Everyone is friendly and helpful

I love FFL. I've had issue with just about every bank I've ever used (and that's quite a few) until I started using First Federal of Lakewood. I know my money is secure, the staff is friendly, and every question I've had regarding finances, investments, and account transactions was answered in a wide variety of topics. Absolutely the best bank I've ever used hands down!

I have been a customer since I was born when my parents set up an account. I have tried other banks for checking accounts while maintaining a savings account here but have always come back to First Federal for all my banking needs. Happy Valentines month.

I’m very happy with First Federal of Lakewood. They are friendly, very helpful with any problems and their security is number one. Beside just the solid efficiency of daily banking, they’ve handled cyber problems too. In this more complex digital age FFL helped me through stolen wallet issues, fraudulent internet charges and checked to make sure some unusual charges I made when on a far away vacation tried to go though. They watched over my money even when I was far away. Great bank.

Overall functionality is good. In the sense of navigating to see balances, ability to do transfers etc. The frustration lies with the limits set on each of the accounts. My perspective is it is my funds and if I need to take out an amount the is above 2000 as an example (for pet surgery etc) i shouldn't have to call an office to get approval and hope the message gets to whomever provides the ability to do so. Many situations are emergent and having a three day process to get funds is unacceptable from my perspective. You can set up a password or something for an expense that is over the amount to insure it is not fraudulent. Ability to do bill pay (example home loans) There should be ability to do so thru ones primary account....vs having to sign in as guest or many other steps just to make a loan payment.

We opened a checking and savings at Strongsville location when we moved to Ohio. Even though we moved to a different city, we still bank here after a horrible experience at Huntington Bank. The staff at the Strongsville First Federal of Lakewood are incredibly efficient, professional and attentive to detail and their customers. They remember who we are by name, details in our life (buying a house, kids, etc) It feels like they know us and that makes me feel very comfortable banking with them. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

FFL has been my bank for about 46 years, and when the Avon Lake branch opened, I was delighted. Thank you for a professional staff, correct procedures and accounting, and generally good atmosphere!

This is one of the best banks of which I have ever been a customer. The employees are always exceptionally friendly and helpful. Their website for logging on is user-friendly, and you can do everything you need, pay bills, transfer monies to other institutions, at the touch of your keyboard. And if you should have to call them, there is a quick answer and human voice...no long holds. I highly recommend this bank over other well-known banks that I have used, like PNC, Key, and U.S. Bank. I am confident that you will agree they deserve a five -star rating!

I have had a checking account at First Federal of Lakewood for may years. To my knowledge, they have never made an error on my account. My home mortgage is also with them and the same is true. I like to bank with a smaller, more personal savings and loan.

I recently bought a house and was shopping for a mortgage. I got connected with Caroline Purcell who did a fabulous job getting me a rate. She was very responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable. She worked hard to secure me the best rate she could get. I would highly recommend reaching out to Caroline if you are in the market for a loan.

I have been banking with First Federal since 1999. I moved to the Strongsville branch and have always been treated like family. My biggest regret is transferring my mortgage when I did a refinance. I still do all my banking through First Federal. The staff is terrific.

My wife and I financed our house through FFL and the first time home buyer’s program through Lakewood. That was 15 yes ago. They were and are still incredibly helpful. There app is user friendly and also have my Roth IRA with them .

I love this bank. Customer service is great. Lately there has been an upheaval in Investment Services and I will state my displeasure. I cannot reach my investment managers, they do not return my calls, and I am very frustrated. A transaction that should have taken 2 days took five which left me in a tough spot. That is my only complaint.

such a very nice staff, we opened a bank account and the staff was very nice to us, very good people. this is the first account in Ohio we opened and the last, we are very happy with the ladies and the man who over sees things. very very nice staff. they treated us like family.. sincerely Scott and Debra Cassell
