My name is Sam, and I was involved in a car accident back in September of 2021. A lot of medical bills were incurred. My injury claims representative from Progressive, did not do his job correct or efficiently, so a lot of my bills had went to collections. Upon Miss. Wendy White contacting me in regards to the unpaid medical bills, she had walked me through the entire process of how to relieve my collections. She was very prompt, and anytime I reached out to her with questions or concern she was extremely helpful, patient and most importantly pleasant to speak with! I personally work with a lot of CSR’s and have a past in call quality assurance. She was wonderful! Y’all have a fantastic employee who clearly takes pride in her work ethic! I dont really do reviews but I feel like this should be known. I had a medical bill go to collections to no fault but my own, that wasn't the issue here. The issue is that the people that work for this company are liars and will lie to literally anyone until they get their money. My mom had called them to pay something from when my dad was in the hospital & the woman she spoke to mentioned my bill to her & said that I had told them that she would pay it. I had not spoken to anyone from this company at this point, their calls go straight to my voice-mail because it is an unknown number. My mom told me this and I called them to ask why they told her about my information whoever I spoke to said she wasn't who my mom talked to & they didn't release any information to her & that my mom told them I would call to give them permission to give that information to her. I told them I do not give them permission to release my information to anyone that calls except for me & that I would call them at a later date. I spoke to my mom about my call with them & my mom said none of that happened, she did not say she would pay it, all she asked was what the debt was from & how much it was & they said they couldn't tell her unless I called. It says their calls are recorded but whoever keeps record of these calls is not very good at it & I don't feel comfortable giving money to a company that is so comfortable with having their employees tell so many lies.

I paid my ER bill with my insurance but still shows up days later that i owe. This Adventhealth is money-hungry and you guys need to stop doing business with them.

They never contacted me about any debts. No letters received. No phone calls. Nothing. They put 4 bills into collections even though they’re all listed for the same exact day years ago. $12, $12, $14, and $26. Normally when you owe someone for services rendered they don’t place each individual charge as a collection. These are usually placed in a single invoice with an itemized list of services and the bottom line total is what’s owed. I don’t owe you $12 and $12 and $14 and $26. I owe you $64. The fact they saw it fit to place each item in a collection years after is ridiculous. Update: after posting this review, about a week later the 4 collections for $12, $12, $14, and $26 were removed from my credit report. I didn’t pay or dispute them. They just appeared on my report one day, I posted this review, and they were removed. This is now 2 weeks after they were removed. Today I checked my credit scores and they put the same 4 accounts back on my report. I have no idea what these people are doing.

Obstructive and unprofessional. I was put on hold 4 times by the supervisor before being sent back to the problematic representative I was dealing with. I know it’s collections but they have no core values on treating customers with respect or trying to find solutions that will help customers. ***Update I am amending my original post although the two employees refused to give any helpful solution or provide any supervisors who could I went online and found someone who could. I found Bill Evans and contacted him regarding my problem. He was kind and concerned and came up with a solution that I am satisfied with. I am happy that I got in contact with him and have changed my one star review to three stars. He demonstrated care and professionalism and has changed my mind despite my initial encounter with the company.

*****Edited to update: Mr bill Evans called me to discuss my issue. He ways very polite and very enjoyable to talk to. He seemed to value my desires to become debt free and buy a house. He took my concerns seriously and explained a lot of behind the scene details that he did not have to. He stated he will remove from my credit as long as I continue to make on time payments as promised. If Jen and Maria had been as professional I would have given 5 stars to start. ******* Very rude. A bill showed up against my credit report today so i called to make arrangements and they acted like it was to much effort to help. They give you a personal line to some one but the voicemail box is always full, which they will firmly deny. 1 star.

I worked with Tammy in September 2018, she was awesome. Very easy to work with and assisted me in successfully paying off my three medical accounts connected to my Cancer treatments. When I called today, I spoke to Maria to ask a question about time frame for paid accounts. She was very rude, acting as if my questions were stupid. Even at one point cutting me off mid sentence, to tell me about another account balance that I had, which wasn’t my question. After beating Cancer twice, I’ve worked to pay off my balances for treatment and care successfully. She said she was a supervisor, which was disappointing due to her unprofessional behavior. I was trying to ask about a payment, but felt uncomfortable doing it with her. I’ll wait for Tammy to come back from vacation! Maria truly has poor customer service. Bill reached to me directly to hear me out, and smoothed things over. I appreciated that personal touch.

I had a very positive experience with FFCC. Over the course of 13 months I was fortunate enough to work with CB many times. They were a joy to work with and without exception they were professional, kind, and understanding. Every time. CB was very knowledgeable of how "the system" works and was not only polite and professional, but proactive in trying to help me resolve my issue. This company failed to contact me about a collection notice for 5 years until I saw it on my own on my credit report when I called him the lady I spoke with couldn't have been more rude including hanging up on me! I was just trying to pay my bill and was treated like a second rate citizen :/

This Credit Union is the best! I had a medical bill that was placed with them by accident. It was an insurance claim already paid in full. I called and after researching it was taken care of immediately. Very fast, accurate, friendly and willing to go above and beyond to help me!

I was never notified of the debt or of a collection effort but it was the initial med provider fault. Everything was solved with a phone call. One week later: The collection record was removed from Transunion and Equifax!

I had a paid medical bill in collections by accident . First Federal Credit Control assured me it will be removed from my credit . Its been over 3 months now and still showing on my credit as unpaid collection dropped my credit score by 100 points .am on the preprocess of refinancing my house i have A+ credit now i have problem cuz of FFCC

Let me start by saying I received a call from Jennifer Fields About a bill And I told her I would get back with her in a short bit And I also informed her I had moved at this time And gave her my new address Which was a mistake Because she did not even give me time to respond to her to her that day before sending out a notice to my home I also contacted her within an hour of talking to her on the phone and and proved to her that the bill had been paid long before She was very rude with both conversations I had with her and the one my wife had with her was the same We had to spend her whole lunch hour resolving thit's all Venus because she kept telling me the information we were giving wasn't good enough Pretty much calling us a liar The very next morning I received a notice about the bill we had talked about and I proved that we did not know so obviouslyDecent the notice out as soon as she received my address from me it's a address for me not giving us a chance to respond to her she's very rshe's very rude and inconsiderate pretty much treating people like they owe something and that There was no possible way it was their mistake for them contact me to begin with I had even asked her to give me just a little bit and I would get back with herBut no she jumped right on the fact that I gave her the address and used itJust maybe she's been doing this job for too long Thinking everyone's liars when she calls them The bill was from Akron digestive disease You have to wonder how many people leave reviews on here that actually are good paying customers And they're being harassed for no reason

Today I saw that I got a flagged collection on my report and it instantly killed my soul. Today is the first day im seeing it. I emailed them right away explaining my situation. I paid it the right away in full. It was only for $152. I'm writing this review IN ADVANCE,because I just believe that it will be taken care of. Prayers for me. I've been working really hard to pay off any debt that I have for the betterment of my 5 years old and 4 month old baby. Will update soon! Calling first thing in the morning. *Update* Got a call at 8 am this morning as soon as they opened up and I was delighted to hear from Ma'am Missy James, she worked with me and resolved my concerns. I want to start by saying I am a human being and I was not told to create this review. After reading reviews I questioned whether or not I should pay off my collection or allow it to fall off after the seven years, as I was already at the 4 1/2 year mark, but I went with my gut and called anyway and I spoke with Julie Anderson regarding my collection. She was so nice and reassuring that I almost couldn't believe it (because the reviews had painted such a negative picture in my mind of this company). She informed me that a collection paid in full is most definitely deleted from your credit report and that the PIF is reflected and reported to all three bureaus and that I would receive a letter from her stating such. I received my letter via email within minutes of hanging up with her as well as a receipt. So, I am not sure who other people have had the misfortune of speaking to but Julie Anderson couldn't have been more pleasant and was even proud that I was taking care of my responsibilities to pay off a collection. FYI they handle collections for urgent care, outpatient clinics, etc. where you may have had an x-ray or imaging performed and your insurance didn't cover.

First Class company! I had a collection for a debt that needed paid. I know paying debt especially for medical stuff is frustrating but that is a whole other story. I was in contact with a very polite and patient woman named Joy and I must say she was a Joy to work with, kind, very polite and professional. If you want to legitimately take care of a debt that you owe do not be afraid of all the bad reviews, they are just doing their jobs, be polite and respectful and you will be treated the same in return.

Kyle the manager is very rude, he continuously hung up on me. This is the worst, dispute through the 3 reporters before calling this UNPROFESSIONAL place. I had medical insurance and they refuse to accept it. Upon calling they tell me I have more accounts than what has been reported for the last 3 years. But now he threatens me with oh now they will all be reported, like it’s my fault they can’t do their jobs correctly. This is the worst and DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. DISPUTE DISPUTE DISPUTE before calling them. And when you ask for a letter of deletion it’s like the end of the world for them. Very rude, unprofessional. I would give ZERO STARS
All calls for Kyle were checked for this day and at no point did he hang up on anyone that he spoke to.

Argumentative and unwilling to negotiate at the outset. My medical bill is nearly five years old. I disputed it with the ENT group initially. Never received a past due invoice. Only found out the debt existed when I attempted to book a follow up appointment. Had health insurance as well.. Then, they pass this debt off to First Federal, who refuse to negotiate, period. I have reached out to the ENT group to resolve directly. I am certain First Fed didn't pay the entire amount to the ENT group to purchase this debt. What an absolute mess from start to finish. I would suggest you direct dispute any debt with the three credit reporting agencies before attempting to resolve via First Federal!!!
