First Dakota National Bank S 3rd St, Beresford

I am changing my review. This bank was very nice to me and I was a good customer of theirs for quite a while until I needed help for one fee and they then were very rude to me for even asking if they could help me. So then I went to go transfer banks and wasn't going to close my accounts for a couple weeks till I had all my auto payments transferred. Well be aware!! If you let your account go to zero they will automatically close your account without your knowledge! So because of that I am now dealing with multiple auto payments that did not go through and got returned!

Steer clear if you are looking for a good bank. Most tellers like to argue with the customers. The customer is never right here and are always wrong. This is a large corporate bank in a small town with large corporate ideals of how much of your money they can take from you. Also this bank believes that if you have money in their bank it is their's first and yours second. If you have an issue where someone compromises your account, they dont believe you and put your money on hold until they finish their investigation. In my case it was fraudulent charges made on my account and it took 4 weeks for their so called investigation. Also once a check is written, thats it, you can put a stop payment on it like every other bank. Also if you are setup for automatic withdrawals and you dont get paid on a specific day like most folks(I get paid on friday like everyone else), they like to grab their payment first even if it will overdraw your account and then watch the overdrafts pile up. Good luck trying to deal with them on how rotten that is to the customer. Overdrafts at this bank are the highest of anywhere that I know of at 33.00. Again, if you are looking for a good bank, look elsewhere. You have been forewarned!!
