First Convenience Bank S New York Ave, Alamogordo

This has been the worst bank to do business with. They seem to change policies but don't let their customers know. The name says Convenience but they do not provide convenience.

Worst bank possible!! Don’t join this scam! I was a customer for 2 years and has been nothing but unauthorized charges and customer services treats you like a lie. I reported this situation and currently have a lawsuit against this company. They told me they had no evidence of fraud but they couldn’t tell me where or who these unauthorized charges were from. When I told the agent about possibly leaving this scam, she said “ that’s up to you sir” no help at all and never got me refund or reimbursement. They let your information loose and you get unauthorized charges from unknown vendors/ merchants. Please please stay away from there money hungry fiends!

When calling the toll free number for customer "service" it's been absolutely a. Nightmare. The representative has little knowledge of what can or should be done with your own personal situation. I have the hardest time connecting with out local branch reps.

If I could give them zero stars I would, don’t trust these people with your money.

The national customer service is bad but this Branch the people are excellent

I’ve been going to this bank for almost 3 years and out of those 3 years I’ve had my account closed, money taken out of my account for charges I didn’t even know about that go to the bank, the wrong card put onto my account and had to claim fraud on multiple occasions for unauthorized transactions! This is the worst bank I have ever gone to and they are impossible to get ahold of. I wouldn’t even call it a bank at this point it’s a hole in the wall scam. Do not bank here

WORST BANK AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!! I deposited a routine paycheck I have for months, then I get notice one was being held because they had "confidential" information that the check wouldnt clear. My employers bank called everyone, wrote letters showing the check was not going to bounce and after a huge hassle it was released. 2nd time it happened my bosses wrote a letter again and I complained to the BBB. My check was released because of my employers bank letter. 3 days later they call my boss and tell her it is doing this because her bank account is too short( because its an old account? They then have the nerve to ask her if she can change her account number or ask her bank to add three zero's in front of her account.(keep in mind I deposit a check EVERY week from this same account and never have trouble until it hits a certain amount. I then get a call from a Naomi Jones the next day asking me to clear my BBB complaint and explained it was a my employers bank error. After explaining I was on speaker when they called my boss and new the reason they told her she apologized for not calling the customer first and promised they were taking steps to make sure it would not happen again. 3rd time(2 weeks ago) it happened it was reversed without my employers bank getting involved and after calling Naomi and again assured it would not happen again and actually admitted it might be the amount but stated it is not there protocol to flag that amount. So exactly 2 weeks later it happens a 4th time. 2 employees hung up when I asked for a supervisor. I spent over 30 minutes on the phone. Ended up on chat for another 20 minutes only to be told someone would contact me Monday that they couldn't help me. I was out if town and stuck with no money because my check was held. Ruined my entire weekend away. I have also had my deposit entered incorrectly twice by a cashier with NO calculator and got mad when I questioned her math. But on a good note BBVA compass goes above and beyond for non customers and has received a new customer now. This is very unprofessional and poor customer service from 1st convenience in Alamogorodo. Would not recommend them for anything. Their poor customer service makes the convenient hours not worth the headache.

Horrible bank, poor customer service. Can't call directly must use national 800 number. Check cashing is a nightmare. Taking my business elsewhere.

They always help me online banking or what I need to put money in my bank cause I get cash tips thank you
