I loved my experience with First Colony. It was all done remotely and electronically until the final signing of the documents. I simply uploaded all my personal documents as PDFs to their secure website. And their secure site lists exactly what you need to provide. It was so simple and easy. They also keep you informed of the progress of your loan and send you quick videos that you can watch that tells you what is happening next. The most important thing was that I wasn't surprised by any hidden fees or "gotchas" during or at the end of the process. They were completely up front and open about it all.
