First City Pawn & Jewelry Leavenworth

This place has been helping me for years now. Without their help I'd of found myself spending a lot of gas money traveling to KC. I've seen quite a few employees come and go. If you treat them with respect they'll do the same to you. They might not all be the most friendly people. However, they are professional and polite. 10/10 would recommend.

These guys have always been awesome to deal with. Super fair and ready to work with you. Love having them in Leavenworth and hope they are around for a long time to come.

Crooked business. Bad business. After making a purchase for a 9 yr old's Christmas gift, it doesn't work. The lady who rang me up said she used it personally, indicating it works. No offer of warranty or all sales final notice. I am given every excuse in the book before I am told it was sold "As is" I was told WAS RODE, indicating it was functional. This RUINED my son's Christmas and this was his "big" present

Kat Molly and Brad are amazing people. All my gun transfers are done with them very professional fast and always willing to work with you. I recommend everyone go here to shop pawn or get a gun. Best pawn shop in town!!

Love this place til now Brad and Kat great people friendly honest happy people til now. Brad left and Kat was demoted and the new employees and boss are stiff and not friendly and don't care how long you been a customer all they care about is the numbers they can make off you. I came to pawn and buy...and I'm done with this place!

I have done business with them for 20 years and only had a couple of problems with my stuff getting damaged but they took care of the problem when I brought it to their attention. If you pawn something make sure everything is as it was when you pawned it, because they wouldn't take it in pawn if it didn't work you shouldn't pick it up unless it is in working condition. Even if it means having them test it for you before you receive said item it makes all the difference especially after you walk out that door with the item.

I had a really great experience at this pawn shop. I tend to steer away from pawn shops but this one prices items well and the products (that I have bought) have been awesome. Ask for Jordan when you get there, she does an amazing job!

I live in Prairie Village , Kansas and would drive to Leavenworth to pawn and/or purchase items. I have been a customer with this company for a very long time. Back in the day where the store burned down. I loved coming to this shop because of Brad and Kat. I am disabled and unable to stand very long. Brad had a chair waiting every time. Now that is customer service. I went in today 2 weeks after picking up a pawn. Brad doesn't work there anymore and a new unfriendly, stiff and poor at customer service manager was there. I understand they are a business that makes alot of money off people but when you for 3 years bring in the same item in and pick up the item you should be treated fairly. I was offered 1/2 what I had always received and the manager was uncaring and unwilling to bargin. I will pick up my item and NEVER return. The store used to have a friendly come on in feel. Today I felt like I was in a cold unwelcoming environment. Good luck Kat, we will miss Brad for sure and you for your helpfulness. This store will be closed in a year.

Don't be fooled by the pictures above. This place is a dump with lighting that makes you think you've stepped into a catacomb. Also, don't dare take any tools in there that are worth more than a couple dollars. The girl tried to low ball me on my Snap-On kits. She offered me $20 on a snap On puller kit that used is selling for $210. Tries to tell me that's what they're posted for not what they're selling for. Are you kidding me?! I know what these tools sell for. Ya know, because I bought these tools too! I brought in a bunch of of mechanic's tools, because that's what I've done, work on vehicles. I go out and grab a few air tools and she says we don't take those specific ones. That's fine. I get it. But then she looks at the other array of Snap On and Central Tool Company, etc and has not even the slightest bit of knowledge about what she is looking at tells me she'll pass, we just don't take those tools here. What? What kind of tools do you take? Do you even buy tools outside of Philips head screwdrivers and a couple of hammers? She is looking the first snap on kit I mentioned on the Google box offers me $20...I looked at the same listings and the exact kit is nowhere on the internet for even around$20! Im sure that other employees are probably better to deal with and are much more knowledgeable about the tools people bring in there. I'd hope that other employees are definitely more fair and realistic on the dollar amounts. These tools were not free when I bought them, and they definitely are not going to be just given away to that girl at this pawn shop.

Kat, Molly, Dalton, Tim and Brad Burton are all amazing in their expertise and knowledge of pawn. I have always had great service from these employees. Great to deal with!
