Excellent customer service! Staff member was extremely knowledgeable and patient getting me set up with an account and walking me through some transfers. My first time actually walking I to a bank in years and was more than pleasantly surprised with this branch.

This is a great bank to be with. If you need to speak with a rep at this location I highly recommend speaking to Gaby. She is very kind and patient and will work with you to get what you need.

Exceptional customer service. I have been working with Gabby Johnson and she is very good at what she does. I have been trying to get a loan that has a good rate and Gabby made things easier for my decision. I called and spoke to another bank prior to speaking with her and I was rushed, but Gabby was the total opposite. She takes her time with you, very informative, provides ways to help you save money and not pushy. Most importantly keeps her word by calling you back to follow up.I'm sure that this review is being read by management, but just wanted to let you know that she deserves a raise and lunch. Thanks again Gabby for going above and beyond!

Super helpful staff at this branch! I needed to have something notarized immediately during this pandemic. Bailli went above and beyond to accommodate me, even printing the document when I was unable to do so from home. Gaby and others whose names I don’t know helped us with lots of issues when we moved to Summerville last summer. One suggestion I might make is that the lobby TV be tuned to something other than Fox News. It’s not for everyone. If you really must have a TV, why not try something more neutral like sports, nature programs, HGTV, etc.? Keep cable news of any kind out of a bank.

Jessica Alexander seems very uncomfortable dealing with uncommon names. I took my daughter in to add a checking account for her (already had a savings). My daughter handed Jessica her driver's permit. Jessica asked, "Which name is the first name?" I asked what she meant, and she replied, "There are so many names on here." Ummm..our daughter has 2 middle names in between her first and last name-on the permit, last name is listed on the top line, and first & 2 middle directly underneath. But her first is a biblical name that isn't commonly used. And in a time when, especially women, often list their first, middle, and TWO last names (maiden and married) on documents! That's when I questioned Jessica about how long she had worked this location. A couple of years before, I called in and was transferred to her. I stated my name and explained that one debit amount was a little off at the online site. Jessica asked me some security questions, and I stated my name again. She told me I would have to come in to discuss this matter. I explained to her how long I had been banking with FC, and I had also, not too long before, disputed a double charge from a chocolate creamery downtown Charleston. I had no problems getting instructions on how to resolve THAT issue over the phone with the associate I spoke with at the time. Jessica then mentioned the fact that "she didn't even know how to pronounce my name". She was speaking of my legal first, which is not common. Well..common to this part of South Carolina, but not common "European". OK, so you can imagine I became very agitated. I wrote her name on the card I had and that's how I remembered her first name. When we hung up, I believe I called another branch to get instructions. I wanted to write a review some time ago, but waited to go up the chain in management. When I finally did speak with higher management, the man I spoke with, in his own way, softly dismissed the issue by making excuses for Jessica's behavior. What a waste of time! Needless to say, after MANY years, we no longer bank with FC..WHEW!! But, in all fairness, I have missed some of the other employees who treated our 2 teens so well when they would go in and do business dealing with their accounts!-they were frequently asked how things were going at work, etc., and most of the time we all were greeted with a friendly smile!

Per google this branch opens at 8:30am. Nevertheless upon arriving realized it opens at 9:00am. So I’m patiently waiting because the amount I needed exceeded the amount allotted at the ATM. I was told I could not wait in the parking lot until the branch open. There were no signs posted or anything. Customer service is key.

I went to the new Nexton Branch to open an account with my elderly mother,. The entire branch was not masked in the middle of a pandemic and at the height of a very contagious variant. We were refused service as the banker Sherry was unwilling to wear a masked in a closed office. She stated it was not their corporate policy. I was able to have her join a CU down the road and they were will to protect her health. I’m disappointed in this bank.

I wish they had at least a weekend open to go after work, but overall this new location has been a pleasant experience. I got my account started quickly and deposits put into it

On August 1st I went into this bank needing a $100 bill changed into smaller denominations. I went to the window and was greeted by a female teller. I asked if she could make change for me. She asked me if I had an account. I told her no. Then she then told me she could not make change for me if I did not have an account with them. What kind of way is that to treat what could be a potential customer? Her response should have been. " I'll do this for you one time. Would you like some information on opening and account with us? " I would have been much more receptive to that. YOUR TELLERS BADLY NEED SOME TRAINING IN SOCIAL AND BUSINESS SKILLS. Maybe it is a management problem passed down by poor management. After being blown off like that I'll never go into this bank again.
