First Bank of Wyoming Main St, Evanston

Truly a hometown bank. The staff from top to bottom is very personable and makes each interaction enjoyable. I particularly appreciate Martha. She is absolutely the best to work with, she is so kind and helpful.

I have been with 1st bank for about 13 years now and just love the place. I am 74 years young now and the convinces and the availability of services is just great. It would take a great deal to drive me away from them.

I have a great relation with everyone at 1st bank with the exception of one teller at the Wal-Mart branch. The first time that I went to her I needed to get a direct deposit form for work and she was acting like I didn't know what I was talking about when I told her exactly what I needed, needless to say what she gave me got rejected by my work. The second time I went to deposit my check and when I had asked her if I had filled it out right she snatched it out of my hand looked at it quickly and said what did you do...I guess I didn't fill it out right. She then proceeded to talk to me like a child and very rudely explained where I need to put the numbers on the form. When I confronted her about being rude she told me that I was rude and turned to a customer that couldn't hear or see everything and ask the customer if she was being rude, of course the customer said no, and I was greatly embarrassed. All I have to say is that if you want good service from this bank don't go to the lady with short blonde hair and glasses at the wal-mart branch.

Been banking here for four years and never really had any issues at all. We just bought our first home and as a young couple they took us seriously, guided us on where to begin when we first expressed our interest in buying a home because we had no clue where to begin, and actually listened to what we had to say. I don’t plan on ever changing banks!

They decide to change dates on payments so they can overcharge you on overdraft fees. This is ridiculous, especially when the actual people who work there are fine but for some reason the business practice isn't what it should be.

I have been with first bank for 13+ years it is a great bank ,first name friendly, polite,always smile happy to help courteous I could go on try them for your family bank you will love it. Susan
