First Bank of Owasso offers good customer service and display a very helpful servant hearted nature in everything they do. Their community involvement and how they strive to be the best small bank for Owasso is an encouragement. I prefer to bank at credit unions however because of the fewer fees in those accounts however I generally keep a spending money account at smaller banks. FBO is great for that however all their checking accounts have fees so be aware of that. Their free checking account will charge you $5 per statement cycle if you don’t use your debit card three times, and the two others have to have a minimum balance of $1000 or $5000 to avoid fees. When opening the account they say use it 3 times per month but it’s actually 3 times for statement cycle so be aware of that slight difference and consistently use it. That is my only issue with them but the values and customer service are great!

Don't trust them with your money, because they certainly won't trust you unless you "earn" it. For weeks my money was "on hold". Then they charge you for not using your account even when it's not your fault. Never felt more like a criminal than trying to bank here. Worst experience ever.

I have banked with First Bank of Owasso since moving to the community in March 1998. I have always received great customer service. Most recently fraud was discovered effecting my account and the bank staff took action to protect me and my money which is much appreciated!

Today I was witness to a remarkable example of First Bank of Owasso's President's humility and kindness. He saw a person in the bank parking lot with a flat tire and approached her to see if she needed assistance. It didn't stop there: he arranged for a nearby tire shop remove the flat to be fixed and returned. This takes “southern hospitality” to a new level. First Bank of Owasso has my business for a lifetime. If you don’t bank there, you should!”

I've never had any problems with the bank of owasso. They have always treated me with upmost respect and kindness in whatever I need or anything I ask. I couldn't find anyone any better. Even though I live out of state I never changed my bank because of the faith and trust i have in them. Sometimes it's a little problem when my bank is in another state but when you look at how well you are treated and how well they try to keep me informed I will continue to remain a customer. I've never received better service, not just in banking, but period. The culture here is great, and everybody seems to enjoy what they do, which makes a big difference when it comes to customer service. The account opening process was simple and smooth, but the follow-up service is what has really kept me here. Hand-written notes, regular calls to see if there's anything I need; you just don't get that anywhere else. As a bank, their offerings are comparable to others, the mobile app is quick and responsive, the online banking is easy; but they're local! What REALLY sets them apart is the service and the genuine people.

The whole team was amazing, friendly, efficient and FAST!! They went above and beyond to help me. I’m from DFW and it was a refreshing surprise to do business with people who have a personal touch like the good folks here and have the highest level of professionalism as well. I wish they were in DFW so I could do all my banking with them! Highly recommend!!

Brianna has always been a big help with opening my new accounts. She is friendly and knowledgeable. Mary recently helped me with a home loan. She made the process go quickly and smoothly.

Clearly did not understand how to simply pick up a phone and call to inform that there is an issue. Instead just went on with business as usual causing problems due to their lack of communication skills. Bank of Oklahoma here I come!
