First Alliance Credit Union staff is always kind, and really makes you feel like family, not just like a account number and by what amount is in your bank account. I didn't trust banks for the longest time, I took a chance with this bank and my trust has been reinstated! Great customer service!

They say they help members get loans but don't. They refer you to a third party company which definitely gets kickbacks to help your credit. Another thing is their automatic withdrawals for bill pay. You have 2 balances that show up, the available and the actual but its never accurate and if your short even a dollar they charge you $35. Very deceptive and don't help anyone like they say they do. Stay away.

Our team works very hard to get our members into a better financial place for the long term, sometimes that means referring members to additional trusted resources outside of the credit union’s direct services on a case-by-case basis. We do not receive any payments for these referrals, rather the credit union pays for our member’s to access to these services. Additionally, you’re correct that your account portal shows two balances. The current balance is the total amount in your account at that moment, and the available balance reflects any pending transactions for your account showing in our system at that time. We understand it can be frustrating when unexpected items run through your accounts. This is why, the balance information in your portal is updated in real-time, as we receive transaction information (actual or pending), to ensure you have the most accurate information available to you help manage your spending. Our team would be happy to help you set-up account alerts or talk about additional options to help you avoid overdrawing your account in the future. Super poor communication from the branch lead about our missing business debit card. One email there was no response at all and from the conversation in another email, it appears the problem stemmed from that persons failure to order a card in the first place. Really disappointed!

Hi. Twenty some years later, they at first Alliance still treat, and look at me like theres appreciation. Very consistent with there professionalism. I started the process on applying for a recent loan today. Not only was it started, but I was able to directly talk with someone.... now that's a good feeling. A nice weight lifted off of me. I have never had such a horrible banking experience! Not only does their ATM never work...but, apparently you have to be an ELITE member to get any loan services. I'm done with this shoddy place! I'm finding a better, more customer friendly place to put my money into.
