I love FPCU as a whole but this location is trash! The branch manager just decides when they want to work. Hours on door say one thing but them actually being open is another. Join FPCU but avoid this branch.

I began baking with Amalgamated GM Family Credit Union when I was 12 years old. My entire GM family banked with Amalgamated Credit Union for decades. The change to Financial Plus RUINED this small town worker's credit union. I could walk into Amalgamated and have all my banking needs met with a simple face to face meeting. Since the buy out, I am denied for a mortgage, a car loan, and student loans. I have perfect payment history with them and a 689 credit score. Today they closed my (zoro balance owed) credit card that I had for over 12 years (approved by amalgamated credit union). No reason. Just closed. Twelve years of perfect pay history on that account down the drain dropping my credit score by 23 points. I am shopping for a new credit union today! If you are a working class or lower income individual, this is not the bank for you. My entire family switched to Wildfire Credit Union and they are all very happy they did.

If I could give a 0 star rating I would. My family and I have been banking with Financial Plus for decades, amd the way that I was treated in this branch is seriously making me reconsider banking at any branch. It felt like the second I walked in I was a "scam suspect" rather than a customer. Rather than just explaining that policy prohibited the transactions I needed to make, I was talked over and talked down to. I will never enter this credit union again I will take any concerns I have to the Flint branches. I took my concerns up the ladder, and it is very obvious why I was treated how I was. Attitude truly does reflect leadership.

To charge for electronic payments and send though the loop to get things started not your best quality. Already of to a bad start. I don't want another loan from them again. Miss Ally at least they are good and help full.

My wife is on my loan, and they won’t even let her call and pay with my debit card. I’ve never had that issue anywhere else

I have had 5 or 6 loans through Financial Plus. When I apply I have to chasethem down to find out the decision. They do not contact me. The loan officers that I have dealt with have spoken to me disrespectfully at some point during our conversations. Usually the loan(s) are denied. Then I have to speak to someone "higher up" and the loan gets approved. I have a flawless pay history with all of my loans and every one of them has been paid off early! Incredible unprofessionalism!!!

I was trying to trade a 2012 buick lacrosse in and they denied my loan 4 times I will not ever go through this bank again very bad service so I'm gonna switch banks over to jolt bank.... fincal plus credit union is a very unhelpful bank....

I am completely not happy with the way things were handled with my account. I sent out my monthly payment that took longer than normal to get to the bank, so doing what I thought was best (thinking my check was lost) I sent out a new check.. being told it'd be red flagged for them to not cash the "lost check" .. check my account balance and they cashed that check plus sent the second check to be cashed. Cost me $33 out of my pocket to cancel the second payment.. and now I will not be compensated for that money. I know its only $33 but I'm a hard working mom that does her best to balance money and to me this is not ok, then being told that I might be charged a return check fee.. this is unbelievable that the customer service here is like this!

work for a dealer, needed a customer payoff and 10 calls of 8 minutes on hold or longer over a period of a week.... finally got a hold of someone. when asking for a 20 day payoff she proceed to tell me to "do the math" this was the second customer I have had this happen with..

Treated me like a bad guy because a life insurance company wouldn't stop aggressively charging me and didn't understand what was going on with my account, then proceeded to get talked to in a condescending and passive aggressive style.
