I’ve been a member at multiple local credit unions. Financial Plus is my favorite of them all. Great customer service. They have all the apps and digital banking if you’re comfortable banking using the internet.

I got a loan for an ATV but the credit union keeps hassling us about obtaining comp and collision for road use. We have insurance coverage through our homeowners but that is not what they say is needed. **************An ATV is not street legal, so of course, no one will insure it. *************** Eventually we get it resolved, only to have the same threatening letter the next month that they are adding hundreds to our loan amount for not getting proper insurance again. We have solved this problem 3 times already, but it still keeps happening. It is like Groundhog Day dealing with their loan department.

The credit union put a 7 day hold on a certified check from a bank down the street - ridiculous. When I questioned it, I was told my only other option is to have the check returned to me.

Great interest rates, and decent service in person, but good luck getting help online or especially over the phone. Banking has become such a hassle, and this place is among the worst experiences I’ve ever had trying to call someone at a local branch office.

I really enjoy being with Financial plus credit union. I had this account when I turned 16 (almost 43 now) then when I got married I switched to ELGA (which I also loved) then after my divorce I tried Genesys (would not recommend) and then came back to Financial plus! I got remarried and my husband and I have a joint account through Security Federal Credit union and they are horrible. So I have been with a lot of different credit unions through the years and would definitely recommend FPCU!

You cannot reach anyone at a branch location over the phone. Horrible for business.
