Fifth Third Bank & ATM W Rand Rd, Mt Prospect

I’ve been having trouble since January first when I enrolled in autopay. I payed in the register but they also took my money from my bank account. I went to the bank and talked to Sonia about it. And she tolled me that it wasn’t a problem that in February they were going to skip a payment and that didn’t happen. So I went to the bank again to see why they took money and I talked to Sonia. And she tolled me the same thing and it happened again. It’s now April and almost may and I’m frustrated thinking that they might take my money again. I have nothing against anybody but I don’t understand why something so simple like giving me back my money or skipping a payment is so difficult. If they can’t give me a solution then why don’t they send to someone who can.

I've been with this bank for several years. I don't know how much I can say I appreciate the call center staff and being rerouted and given incorrect information. Then a "Donna" in the domestic disputes department with her uncaring attitude and nonchalant behavior, 🙄 I was going to just delete everything for this account. But, when I saw they reversed the overdraft fee, I did calm down a bit more. There are some good and definitely a lot of bad.

This is the worst financial institution ever. They took a bank check the funds were available the next day then they put a hold on the balance of my funds. This is an illegal business practice

Came to this branch for a simple voided check to set up my direct deposit and the customer service was impeccable! I was greeted by a Mr. Krystian Wilk and from start to finish with the transaction he was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable throughout the process. His female associate, whom I would like to say was named Priscilla but I know started with a P, was also extremely courteous and helpful. Being in sales, I was expecting to be pitched some sort of product because they were doing so great but that wasn't the case! I've been banking with fifth third for a few years now and I can honestly say this is the best customer service I've received by far. Keep it up guys!!

Awesome service...my father and I were greeted with respect and although the account manager could not answer my inquiry he got me the number of the person who could!

These guys bought out my MB financial bank account, and suddenly they'd invented half a dozen new fees/fines/charges to rifle through my pockets and steal as much money as they could from me. Walked in, got them to reverse all the fees, then immediately cancelled my account and took my business to a bank that isn't actively hostile to people using it. Never again.

Went on a Saturday morning to open a checking account. I noticed there was no bankers in their office. So I asked one of the 2 girls working the lobby. She said she would help me out, to have a seat. She continued to work the drive thru and attend customers coming into the lobby. 20 minutes later, I'm still sitting in the chair waiting, and more and more customers are arriving in the drive thru and lobby. I ended up walking out and going down the street to Chase Bank.

Incredibly unhelpful! They were pretty good when I'm going in to access my money, but absolutely no help when I thought someone hacked into my account. Terrible service when I needed them most, and no one could help, not even at the corporate level. I wanted to get to the fraud department, and they bounced me around to 5 different people who I had to tell the story to every time, and never sent me where I needed to go. Each person had trouble listening and had a wild concocted story explaining away the issue. Terrible service.

On three separate occasions, I waited at least 45 minutes to be assisted with something relatively trivial. In each time, I was assured my wait would be less than 10 minutes. The staff here are perfectly content to say they are unable to do something and force you to wait for a single employee, so they can go back to their gossip. The third time this happened, I closed my account. I've had no better than middling service at any Fifth Third location, but this one is by far the worst.

The women at this bank are very rude. If I am giving my money to someone I want to be appreciated and respected that does not happen at this branch every time I have gone here she is always very very rude.
