Very TRASHY SERVICE HERE!! manager asked me to leave because she couldn’t handle what I said to her. Petty petty people. I couldn’t open my account because of my blackness. Using my amendment right freedom of speech!! Go somewhere else what is Fifth Third Bank anyway??? 😊

You shouldn't bank with this company. Even wells fargo who has been taken to court for screwing customers has better customer service than these guys.... First: Spent 1hour47min on hold last night 2nd: Spent 1h 58min in office today 3rd: Spent 38min on hold today 4th-5th Had 2 phone appointments not kept Was told that an urgent matter for today would get a "call back from a supervisor in 3 business days" SERIOUSLY? IT WON'T MATTER AFTER TODAY!!! 6th: 43min Called a branch I thought was corporate in ohio that finally got my account unlocked but hopefully it's not too late.... Which this is all I was asking the entire time!!! I had the money in there they just locked my account right when I needed to pay something that has a big late fee if not paid.... I have multiple bank accounts with other financial institutions and I have more than enough money in this account to pay the bill but your customer service refuses to help or get a manager that can do anything today...... Everything was wait for days for a reply to something that has to be done today or I get a huge late fee even tho I have double the bill in my account... REDICULOUS! I plan to also send this to BBB and close my account here! NEVER BANK HERE PEOPLE. Reply to owner. I have already been waiting on the phone for you guys for many hours already. Not much you can do now to make up for it

Customer service is terrible. The banker Sashani was very rude to me and was inappropriate. the manager & white female teller were on their cell phones talking loudly and watching videos while I was waiting to be helped.

It has been a while (2019) since I left 5th Third but the boredom of Covid-19 isolation has given me time to comment about my reason for leaving. I had a dispute where the debit card for our personal account was compromised. Someone hacked it. We told the truth and the bank lied i guess so that they would not have to refund the funds to me. I have never had a bank not cover something that was a blatantly obvious theft. I reported this activity before all of the funds were actually released to Walmart- In another state-- with a customer phone number in New Jersey. At any rate, 5th third in Lakewood has a clean lobby, limited hours, non-local customer service, super low interest rates on savings and super high rates on loans. So many banking options now days ... don't fall for the nice lobby !!!
