Fifth Third Bank & ATM Shelbyville Rd, Louisville

I just had the SECOND awful experience with this bank and this branch. The first one was a mortgage in 2010-2011. My mortgage officer did not take care of me at all. She would not return my calls, did not answer my questions and she did not even attend to the closing!! Last year they had a promotion for opening a new business account which was attractive. So I decided to give them a second chance. This time I asked what they were offering me in writing based on the former experience. Which they did, but, I was shocked when I checked the promised interest rate after 3 months. It was 1/3 of what they promised me to pay for 6 months?!! I emailed the officer and never heard back from him. So I called the manager and forwarded the email for the promised rate. She called me back in 2-3 days and said that she adjusted the difference for the past 3 months but, the bank would NOT honor it for the other 3 months. PLS BE CAREFUL WITH THIS BANK.

I went inside to get a roll of quarters. I do not bank here, my credit union is allowed to use their ATM without charging the fee. I was sure they were going to tell me they couldn't help me since I was not a member. The teller smiled as she said she would be glad to help me and even gave my son two suckers! Thank you Fifth Third Bank for employing friendly helpful tellers!

I just want to take a second to recognize Mr. Sivils (I hope I spelled that correctly) at this fifth third location. He has helped me tremendously! The ATM encountered an error on multiple occasions to where I was unable to have my cash deposited correctly, he was there to help me both times and continued to be patient and kind throughout. He is wonderful, if you ever attend this branch make sure to see him!

Good bank and atm no problems

This fifth third is simply amazing and ready to help at any time. I was having trouble cashing a check from a joint account that I was closing out that I received in a divorce. Two other banks I'm a member of said they couldn't help unless my ex-wife showed up in person even though she signed the check AND I had court documents stating my possession of the account. Fifth Thirds helped me right away. Every time I walk in there I am greeted by a friendly staff, including one center manager who has done so much to help untangle my accounts that she ought to be nominated for some award. Seriously consider this bank, great persons ready to help you in any way you need.

Walked in to the St. Matthews branch today with an odd request for documentation on a car loan. Tim Day took time to figure out how he could retrieve the documents and expedite my request. Tim was professional, industrious, and polite as he handled my issue. I do not live in Louisville, but if I did, this would be my bank as a result of Tim’s excellent customer service.

I'm sorry that I didn't get to give Fifth Third Five Stars. It's not this location that brought the score down from perfection. This location has great service and fixes problems as they come up. The problem with the bank is that they can't stop hackers from getting into my account and manipulating my funds.

They were unable to wire the funds outside of US. I was there twice for the same thing and they couldn't do it
