So happy I chose Fellowship Home Loans. Kevin B. and his Team (honorable mention to Alexia) were awesome. Every step of our loan approval process was truly a team effort!! I appreciated the transparency -- if it could happen, Kevin said "yes". If it could not happen, Kevin said "no". Kevin provided me with the needed guidance and insight to make the process successful. And, he was there when I needed him, sometimes going above and beyond what was required. I will not hesitate to recommend them to others!

Our loan expert Brett was absolutely amazing, he made everything extremely clear and 100 percent opposite of what we heard about the mortgage process, we also had to pivot with plans last minute and he came up with solutions to make sure we ensured our loan. I would recommend Brett to anyone applying for a mortgage. Besides the service he was able to get us the lowest rates!

I was happy with fellowship until they sold my loan within two weeks of me signing. They did not give me an indication that they were selling my loan. I am very sorry I gave my time to them. If my loan was not important to them, they should have not taken it. I was very disappointed in how that was done. I guess my loan amount was not enough for them to service. I would like to clear up why I gave Fellowship Home Loans the review and star that I gave. When I first gave my review, it was meant for the company not the person who worked out my loan. First my experience with the loan representee was excellent. We had a good connection, and I was pleased with his service to me. His Christianity showed during our conversation about how I needed to proceed with what my needs were. His representation for the company standards were good but I feed the results came from higher up. I still stand by my feelings about how this was done. I do in no way blame the mortgage rep or my loan rep. I thought this was for the company.

This is my second time to refinance my mortgage through Fellowship Home Loans. I worked with Luis Delgado who is a wonderful person. He was so knowledgeable and professional. He made the process so easy. God Bless all of you at Fellowship Home Loans.

I went to Fellowship Home Loans back in 2019. The service was ok, but it was very disappointing to think I was joining a faith based organization only to have my my loan sold to another mortgage company quickly after it was finalized. I have refinanced since then and have not reached back out to Fellowship for the reason listed above. However, I still receive phone calls from them saying they are returning my call, which is annoying. This post is being written in response to an email from Fellowship saying "Thank you for coming to Fellowship Home Loans" and it is now February 2022. I recommend FHL update their systems. On 2/26/2022 I received the following email and have changed my rating from a 2 to a 3 star rating. So I did just speak to Mike & Brian in regards to your feedback and our conversation we had. So they do apologize for any misunderstanding about the servicing transfer of your loan. They will also retrain a few newer telemarketers so they are saying and coming off correctly and not misleading in any way. They have also removed your phone# and email off our advertising so you won’t receive any future call or “blast” marketing emails form us. You have my direct contact info so if you ever need to reach out please feel free to do so. Lastly, they asked of there is any way you can either remove the post or change the rating since we do try to maintain the highest level of customer service so this one 2 star rating has brought our overall online rating down so we would greatly appreciate anything you can do on this.

Joe Horton was amazing to work with. Even when I had so many question he didn't mine and walked me thru them. He even told me to call him on a Sunday when we were closing in case I needed him. Over the years (too many to remember), I have listened to your ads on Praise 104.1 (WPRS). I finally reached out to you guys in 2019 to refinance my current mortgage but was told I did not qualify because of recent late payments. I was advised to continue paying my mortgage on time for at least 6 months and to call back. I finally decided to call back 3 years later. The people at Fellowship Home Loans worked diligently with us as we submitted all the paperwork needed. Refinancing is a big job for the loan officers as well as the homeowner. They clearly informed us of what we needed to pull together for them and when and where to sign! They were able to get us a much better rate for which we are thankful. The only reason we are giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that during the process, no one told us that or loan would be processed by Fellowship, but the mortgage holder would be PNC. This was a surprise when we got our first payment notice in the mail. It's not a problem, but it was a call I had to make to wonder why PNC was, what seemed to me to be , suddenly involved. Thank you to everyone at FHL! You were kind and helpful through the whole process. We would use them again if the need arose!

FHL helped me to efficiently and quickly process a cash out-refi that helped me to achieve extremely important financial goals towards becoming debt free. If you are used to having your transactions caught up in red tape with your financial institution, call FHL… I’ve yet to have a better experience. Working with Jeanmarie and Bill has been a tremendous blessing for me. I started working with them early 2019 when I purchased my home, and just recently in December 2021 when I refinance my home. Before I can say anything about this duo team, I must give God praise for bringing them in my life. From the very beginning they have been very honest and straightforward with me. Worst mortgage experience I ever experienced. Strong arm tactics, to the point of getting a call on Christmas eve, for information I provided already. Told them to cancel the closing and forget about the Refinancing. Call a call and they said they can go ahead with the mortgage with what was provided. (I did not need to refinance, and I did not have to do it with them).

I’ve used Fellowship Home Loans a couple of times to refinance. It was a blessing communicating with a team of people eager to assist to meet my desired need. The process wasn’t long and drawn out. I didn’t have to call several times to request information, Mike, Brian and Kevin were thorough, patient and provided several options so that I could make a sound decision. Each time I used Fellowship, I was content with the process. I have recommended them to friends and colleagues. If you are looking to purchase or refinance give Fellowship a call and compare your options.

The process seemed a little longer than I am use to with other mortgage applications I've done. I submitted the same information multiple times. So, I am wondering where the original information went. Also, the loan officer was requesting and sending personally identifiable information ( PII) in emails. THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM. I requested a secure portal to submit that PII, but was still receiving emails from them with PII contained in them. I worked in banking and would have lost my job if I had done that. Will probably not use this company again. They sold my mortgage right away, so apparently could not make enough money off of me.

Robert Jones from Fellowship Home Loans was very helpful in refinancing our mortgage. I originally heard about the company in an ad on our local Christian radio station. Their website reads “Mortgage Lending Guided By Honesty & Integrity”, which is true. Robert answered all our questions and worked very hard to make our refinancing work when others couldn’t. We are now enjoying a lower rate!

Joe Horton was our loan officer. He stayed in close communication with us through the entire process and was very clear about what documentation we needed, going the extra mile to correspond with our accountant when info needed clarification. Joe is also a personable, friendly guy, adding "fun" to what could otherwise be a very onerous process. FHL website is user-friendly, unlike some I've been on. Underwriting worked quickly to give us an approval. Would definitely use FHL again!

We were so much looking forward to working with Fellowship home loans. A loan officer. Van Simmons assisted us and instead of getting back to us he never called or emailed again. When I sent him a email asking why he never got back to me he sent me a angry email. We certain never thought we’d be treated this way. Ran our credit and literally never even called back. We had high hopes. Now our credit scores been impacted and we’re in the same spot. Can’t say I’d recommend them to anyone. Especially him being the senior loan officer.

Please allow me to introduce to you the best mortgage consultant that FHL has on staff - WILLIAM MALDONADO JR. I refinanced approx. 6 months ago and William was my mortgage loan consultant. At that time, I should have taken cash out to pay off some bills but I was too stubborn to do so. You never have to call or email Mr. Maldonado because he is always one step ahead of you and knows what's going on at all times. He got me a cheaper interest rate and a quick closing. I sent an email out that I was looking for information only - I wanted to refinance my home I had been in for 20 years. I worked with Joseph, who is very pleasant. He seemed to know what he was talking about. I did feel a bit rushed to complete the refinance, due to rising interest rates. I took a little extra monet out and two weeks later, I'm still waiting for it. No one seems to know where it is. I did not have a voided check, but gave ALL my banking direct deposit info at the signing. The title company doesn't seem to know about this information. I am concerned that I may have rushed too fast into this.

I started a mortgage refi process with William Leck around 01/11 and successfully completed it on March 30. He was unbelievably patient with me . The process was arduous but FHL locked me into a rate which improved our financial situation and eliminated credit card debt.I was sincerely disappointed to learn that after paying my first payment to FHL our mortgage was sold to some entity of which I know nothing

I was comparing 2 different companies. I decided on the other company due to rates etc. After 3 months, I reached back out to my contact at Fellowship. In 2 weeks we closed on my refinance. I was thrilled at the way I was treated and the process was extremely simple.

This was a different kind of loan process for me. In times past I've had loan officers just get the job done as quickly as possible while I was left with unanswered questions. This is just a loan company like any others. They advertise and try to sell as a more friendly easy to use loan company. In general the people were nice and friendly, they offered a good rate and a quick closing (The reason for 3 stars). But in the end it was the worst mortgage loan experience we have had in 40 years. Throughout the process we ended up providing the same information multiple times. In all our other mortgages all the paperwork for closing was fully filled out and all we had to do was verify things and sign. Fellowship Home Loans used Chicago Title who had a form at closing that was not filled out and asked all these detailed financial questions about our finances. If that information was needed it should have been gathered and put in the form weeks before. Many things we had provided before. We had to run around the house to get answers and the closing was extremely frustrating. Then 2 weeks after closing we were told the mortgage had been sold and thanks for our money. I do not recommend Fellowship Home Loans or Chicago Title and would not use either one in the future.

Fellowship Home Loans got the job done in a very short time - less than 6 weeks from the initial contact until the refinance was done. Ezekiel was a wonderful agent to work with and a true pleasure. Every contact felt like running into a friend at the corner store. I don't know that I've ever felt so comfortable in such a relationship before or since. I had a tremendous experience working with William Maldonado and his team at FHL. From our first contact through the closing, William communicated with me throughout each step and always answered my questions promptly. We had a wonderful experience with our refinancing. It was completed in record time with a great interest rate. However, during the entire process, our loan advisor told us she would be our contact before, during and after and that she will "be here for us." Fast forward exactly 30 days from our closing... we receive an email and letter from a new lender notifying us that Fellowship Home Loans has sold our loan to them. Not a word from Fellowship and not even a phone call from the load advisor who was so helpful. It was as of they just washed their hands of the business relationship that they had with us. Did they not know ahead of time that they would be selling our loan off right away? Not exactly the way I would do business. But, then again... regardless of their name, affiliation, etc. lenders are in the game to make money. And they evidently made more money by selling our loan off. A bit disappointing.

Was told one price & then when all the paper work came in it was higher. I called because of the high recommendation for the Brant & Sherry radio show, as you are their Spencer’s for the “Odd Cast” when I was asked by Chris how did I hear about the company, I said the Brant & Sherry Odd Cast….his response was….”I’ve never heard of them” Very dispointed.

This was the most stress FREE transaction in my life. Our particular situation was not an easy one. We were in a loan modification & not getting credit for payments on our credit report, a previous bankruptcy and more. We called several places to refinance that didn’t understand our situation, when I mentioned sending over Loan Modification papers, I wouldn’t hear back and finally “I’m sorry we can’t help you”. So there goes almost 3 months down the drain.
