From someone who currently has a bank account with frmcu. They're nothing special really. Just another place that treats people like a number despite being a credit union.

I recently spoke with Tyler on the phone with a problem I was having ordering and recieving checks. This young man was not only very helpful but a pleasure to speak with. He did his best to fix the problem and returned my call with in 10 minutes. Tyler is a hugh asset to your bank and I hope he is appreciated.

If you're looking for a place to have an account and do very basic banking (cashing checks, getting change/changing bills, etc.) FRMCU does the job. Don't bother with money orders from here whether you have an account or not, there are plenty of pharmacies and other businesses in the neighborhood where the cost is lower. Their online "member" portal doesn't provide copies of checks and support can be a bit lackluster and seems more scripted, in that it seems to rely on keywords and quoting policy instead of answering questions or providing personalized service. The change machine seems to be frequently down and there is no alternative to deposit change with the only suggestion being to "go to another branch". Not bad at all, and I've never really had a problem with the employees themselves, just a 3-star "average" institution. I can't speak for any sort of loans with this CU just yet.

Very nice people work here and they are not at fault for creating the silly policies that this Stone-Age institution holds so dear. Someone needs to have courage to challenge the status quo with some progressive ideas and creative problem solving. The website and app are just sad; you'd do well to invest in consulting a skilled tech company to do a complete overhaul.

Just lost the perfect house opportunity because they couldn’t cash a certified check in 5-7 business days like they said they could.

I have been with FRMCU over 10 years. The customer service is always friendly and professional, definitely earned the 5 stars..! Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Been a frmcu member for a few years, financed my last car loan with them. Attempted to apply for a 2nd car loan with them and missed a call, have called back and left messages 3 times now and have yet to get anyone to call back to me. Last time I called I could hear who ever answered the phone ask the person I was calling for if they had called me and I was out through to a voice mail and left another message. Wouldn't advise using any bank that is this difficult to get a hold of for any loans.

In pure Rico he had a similar they are kind and friendly.
