Our experience with Fairway was great. First they provided us with all the information we needed to get our credit score higher. In three months we had reached a higher credit score. Once our credit score was higher we began procressing our home loan and was approved. The fourth month we moved in our new home. Thanks to Fairway we did it. A big shout out to OLIVER GIBSON. I am currently getting out of the military, and my wife and I are moving from Georgia to the Charleston area to change our careers. We needed a financial institution to work with for my VA Housing Loan, and was referred to this office by our realtor. This has been the greatest mistake of our transition, as this office has given us nothing but headaches and runarounds the entire time we've worked with them. Unclear directions, moving goalposts, unfamiliarity with the VA's rules and regulations on their own loans, unwillingness to be flexible given our situation - you name it, we had to deal with it from this office. The straw that broke the camel's back was when sending in a job offer letter they specifically stated would satisfy the requirements for the loan, they immediately said that it was insufficient and they needed my VA Disability claim (they had previously stated either would work independently) or a job offer letter from my wife (when I asked about her getting a job previously, they had stated her income was entirely irrelevant to the loan process). Needless to say, if you're getting out of the military and looking to use your VA loan to buy a home in this area, do not work with this office. Even the military has been less of a headache.

It was truly a pleasure working with Warren Armstrong and the entire team at Fairway while purchasing our first home. Constant communication and superior customer service made the loan process a seamless success. Highly recommended!

Fairway is simply The Bomb! They recently completed 2 mortgages for us, one in GA, the other in SC. Both Teams were excellent. They are waaaay simpler to do biz with than any Bank. We had horrible experiences with Wells Fargo, they have no idea what they are doing, and wasted a month of my time. We presented 2 opportunites to them because we had an existing mortgage with them. In both cases we were putting 50% down. The local reps dont return calls, and they evidently dont communicate with the underwriting team. All the big banks get into global cash flow, its a nightmare. Fairway has the same rates, but they are incredibley streamlined, and the local Reps and Underwriting Team communicate between themselves, unlike the big banks that you can never get anyone on the phone. They also have more products than the big banks. Love Fairway!

We had a great experience buying our first home with Derek's whole team! As everyone who has bought a home knows it is a very stressful process but Derek and Paul were able to alleviate some of that stress. Their communication throughout the process was excellent! They let us know what was going on every step of the way and anytime we called with questions we were able to get answers right away without hold times or waiting forever for a call back.
