Under the old management I t it was the absolute best pawn shop. Under current management I would not recommend doing any business with them at all. I personally have spent around $1,100. They have done me dirty. Will not honor previous arrangement. I closed my account. I will never do business with EZ PAWN shop.

Had a great experience and was provided excellent customer service. I would recommend this place to friends and family. 7/8/22 REVISITED: When I went here the first time I had a knowledgeable employee talking to me about firearms. He offered me an 85% value of what I was planning to sell the gun online for and even though it was a little less than what I wanted to sell it for I sold it because I did not want the hassle of shipping it myself. Today I went in with an equally nice and rare firearm and the employees there could care less. I don't think they even looked up the right model of my gun. A quick search online with the correct model would show that the gun I brought in has only been sold used or new 5-6 times in the past several years for the entire US. The firearm was produced for only a year and in limited numbers. The total resale value of the guns I brought in was $1500 (very conservative and based on used gun prices on gunbroker and guntrader) I asked for $1200 and they offered me $500. It was my mistake in thinking that because I had a great interaction here before that I would receive the same service again. It was a waste of my time and unfortunately, I won't give this place a chance again. They didn't have many firearms to sell anyways.

This place truly exceeded my expectations! I went in there to sell some stuff expecting $60 back tops. I walked out with $280! I was blown away! And to the guy who helped me today, Mike, you’re the man, you are the MVP, you are the GOAT! Really appreciate it! I’m still high on serotonin from this! Max Money Pawn for the win!

Worst customer service ever! Have used this place multiple times for multiple things. Sometimes there were no issues but 3 different times I made a deal with the manager at the store of when I would come back with the money for the item and 3 different times they sold it anyway! Liars! This time they sold a family heirloom that was from someone I lost 6 months ago. Have never been so devastated. And they are doing zero about it to make it right. Done! Plenty of other shops for your business.

Had an awesome experience here the other day. I went in to off load a few things that I hadn't used for some time. I expected to get a few bucks. James was able to get me back more than I expected. I mentioned I was new to the area, coming from Austin, and he gave me a variety of restaurant suggestions after I mentioned missing the food. Personable staff that will do right by you. Overall dope experience. Definitely recommend this place!

This review is about 3 months over due! There was an emergency to come up and I needed a large amount of cash. Placed a call to the store and spoke to Jimmy about my item, I had a lot of questions. He was very helpful and also told me about how long it would take me to get to his store. I really appreciated his help! I also felt really good about seeing the good reviews this business had received. When I went to the store I was greeted and VERYYYY Impressed on how neat and clean and organized the store was. Once my transaction was completed , I was asked to step into an office and was paid the money for my pawn. ( this was for privacy and my safety because it was a large amount of cash). WOWWW!!! I was so impressed!!! I feel it is very important to leave good reviews when the customer service is outstanding because so many times people leave mean reviews because they are mad because they are having a bad day or didn't get their way. I will definitely recommend this business. 😄. I honest rate this company a "10"!

I tried to do business with this company for a nice Relic/Fossil watch.... I was told by an employee that they didn't take anything except gold and Rolex watches... I looked them up and they accept all kinds of watches... This is unprofessional and bad business....

This family who work here are so awesome. And that is what it is a family. Always having some pretty sweet deals. Just got a nice blue ps4 controller. This is the second time this shop has had something that other shops didnt. Last year at Christmas looking for a ps4 for $250. And who all but them to have one and that is 1tb hard drive in it. My car was stolen about a week ago and getting into another vehicle required for me to put cash up front for a down payment which made me short on my other bills. I needed $200 to get me by until next payday. Max Money PAWN pulled through for me in helping me out in this hard time. The staff along with the manager were extremely personable and really nice! BEST service I have ever received at a pawn shop. My wife and I had some home theater equipment that we were trying to sell. We went to another pawn shop prior to coming here, and that place wouldn't even look into the stuff we had. When we walked into Max Money Pawn, we were immediately greeted and felt comfortable selling here because the place was so clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I have been a pawn shopper for the last 10 years, in Dallas and Houston, and I have to say that Shaun and Jimmy at Max Money Pawn are some of the best around. I regularly visit the store, and other national chains, and these two gentlemen make my experience pleasant every time. They know me by name, they treat all with respect, and they care about thier customers that have items on loan. I have even seen them guide people to other pawn shops because they can't buy an item at the moment because of too much inventory of that type of item or because they know a national chain can offer more. Shaun knows what I am interested in and when I walk in brings it to my attention. Thank you Shaun and Jimmy, great job on establishing a business that cares about its customers. I would like to say that Max Cash Pawn by far is the best shop available to consumers in need of help. I was tread as a person and not just a black male looking for quick cash. The guy who helped me simply asked me what i needed as far as cash i asked for 200.00 and they blessed me with 280.00 that should speak volumes to the type of customer service they offer at Max Cash Pawn.

I’ve currently been going through some things and had hit a ruff patch . When I called Max Money Pawn 10 minutes before they closed , and suprisingly they came to my rescue. You never meet that many good people , especially those who show hospitality. Mike came and helped me and was so nice we forgot they were close . Moving to Texas , he made me feel welcomed and I am so grateful that God allowed him to help me. A wonderful employee for a FANTASTIC BUSINESS !!!

This was my first ever experience at a pawn shop and it was nothing like I expected. The guys at Max Money Pawn were kind, respectful, and gave me a very fair price for my jewelry -- more than a gold buyer offered, and it was a lot more fun too. Hopefully I'll never want to sell any jewelry again (because I'm never getting married again....!), but if I do, I'll visit this store for sure.

Mario and the staff at Max Money Pawn were extremely nice and personable. The staff went above and beyond the expectation of customer service by not only meeting me on a sale but asking me "How I was doing" showing empathy for my financial hardship, and explaining to me the value of the product I was selling. Got rejected for diamond ring at Cash America in Lewisville. But Max Pawn didn't reject my ring. Cash America said the diamonds are not real, but then they didn't even make an offer on the gold ring. Thank god I didn't settle for that cheap response - i kept my ring and drove away!! Went to Max Pawn in Lewisville and they immediately stated the diamonds are real. They tested them with a little device + looked closely at them with a little magnifying glass. Then they offered me a beautiful cash loan. Afterwards I drove straight back to Cash America and complained to Monica today @ 1:20. She said she had looked at my diamond ring and decided the diamonds were not real, she said they were 'laboratory created'. Totally the opposite of Max Pawn that said they are real. Max Pawn is right, the jewelry is real and certified, and originally bought at a reputable diamond dealer with stores all across the nation. Thank you to the two people i met today at Max Pawn. You did your due diligence and worked out an agreement that everyone is happy with. .

New customer to this place. Need a quick injection of cash to cover some unexpected expenses. Unfortunately all other pawn shop was close in a Sunday, so look up online to see if there was any that was open on a Sunday. Saw Max Money Pawn, and seen that they had great reviews. So though I try this place. Was not disappointed, nice place clean and bright. Customers service was great, had my silver and gold I wanted to pawn. They gave me the money that I ask for with know hassel or anything. Walk out happy with thr deal and went on my day. Would come back for repeat business if I had to pawn something.

Love this store!! They always have some of the best stuff!! And Mike the manager love their guy, he is very helpful, considerate and kind no matter how many questions I ask. Hands down one of the best places to shop!

They don't disclose the fact that they will not accept sterling silver jewelry unless they have proof of who made it. But even after finding the information on the jewelry, it was ignored. The 2 pieces that were considered were diamond stud earrings and a gold 14k ring with 6 small diamonds, maybe a bit over 1/3 carat. The earrings were over a half carat total, had been worn once for about 2 hours so they were basically new and still in the box. In looking at the diamond jewelry they were selling, several earrings of smaller diamond sizes were priced from $250 to $$350.00 . I saw 2 pair that looked identical in size for around $400.00 to $450.00, so I thought I could get around $$200.00 for the earrings. Similar rings were selling for $300.00 to $350.00 so I thought maybe I could get around $150.00 or so for the ring. Boy was I wrong and had I not been so ill at the time and in need of cash for prescriptions, I would have walked out when I was told that $150.00 was his best offer. I feel cheated out of about $150.00. I may go back in to see what the price is for those 2 pieces. Max money is a joke in this case and I will not recommend it to anyone.

Went in to look at a firearm I saw the other day and was pleasantly surprised by how courteous and polite the salesman was. After looking at what I wanted ,did my paperwork and paid. that’s when I was really surprised. When I asked the salesman if it was ok to walk outside with my newly purchased firearm to put it in the trunk he said if I wanted one of the rifle cases he had in a corner to put it in. Did not expect that. Awesome service and a good deal on the gun, I will definitely be coming back for my next purchase. Five stars 👌🏼

If you're looking at this post then YOU GOTTA GO! I inherited some items and garage sales weren't working. My wife works close and stopped in. She was very impressed with the way she was treated so we decided to bring a few things in. I was VERY skeptical to say the least! Not only was the staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable but I got a very fair price. Buying or selling give this place a visit. Clean, well lit store with a friendly staff that are accessible but won't bother you.

Shaun was so helpful and gave me a great offer on my items. He was very thorough in his review and he made me feel comfortable selling my items. The all around experience was nothing like what I've experienced previously at other local shops. They have gained a returning customer for sure! :)

You know there are a lot of times when you see reviews and are not sure if they are real. I don't do this very often but ever since I moved to Lewisville I noticed that the hospitality and support is great here. I know I spoke to Victor and Shawn and there was another guy, they were all very great. I really appreciate the great deal and customer service from them. They really got something special going on here. Me and my family will be back for sure.

Mario at Max Money Pawn was very compassionate when I had to pawn jewelry. They gave me the most they could for my piece and then were helpful and patient when I was paying them back. I was able to get my jewelry back sooner than expected because of them working with me! Thank you!!

The rapport I’ve built with Jimmy and Mario over the years is something you won’t get or find with anyone or anywhere else. These guys have been personable and professional each and every time I’ve been in. As long as you are reasonable, respectful, and keep your loans in good standing, these guys will never turn you away. I’ve done a lot of business with these guys and I’ve never had a single bad experience. Pawn shops tend to have bad reputations, these guys are the complete opposite. Walked in greeted nicely, hence 1 ⭐️.needed a loan or sell a drill/ screw gun I’ve only had 3 months, they didn’t like the brand . What ? it’s still new , 70 bucks new . I Never will use Max pawn for buying or selling. Even if I have a brand they like.

This is NOT your shark pawn store. I orginally visited in 2017 with articles from my deceased Mom's house. Jimmy is very kind, fair, respectful and an attentive listener. Visited again this week and I appreciate the professionalism, the honesty and research performed before a purchase for they are customer service centric. I went into this pawn shop after reading the reviews. Here is my honest experience.....I was greeted immediately. Two other customers that entered after me were never acknowledged. I was offered 280.00 for what I brought in to pawn. The guy helping me (really nice) said I wouldn't get more than that anywhere else. I just got 525.00 for the exact same items at a different pawn shop.

I reviewed on Yelp but wanted to make sure I got it on here as well. Jimmy and Shaun were both really nice guys and we came to a very fair agreement on our sale. If you’re ever trying to get the value of your merchandise or just find an awesome deal on something, look no further! These guys are super friendly and I live in Plano, TX but if I need to pawn, sell or buy something, I don’t mind the small drive over to them. They are quick and like their name states, the give you the best bang for your buck. They give way more than their competitors and their interest rate is also awesome. If you’ve never tried working with these guys, I highly suggest you stop buy. I’m sure they won’t leave you unsatisfied!

If I could give 0 I would. I am a well respected construction manager and my wife was purchasing me a pistol as a gift. I am also a 6ft 2 well built black man. My wife was half way through the paper work and the obese manager looked at me and decided that because I was in gym cloths, black and muscular I must be a criminal. He proceeded to basically shoo my wife out of the way and imply that he knew the reason that she was doing it was because I was a thug. I am a well educated veteran of the army with 10 years of service and since I’ve been in Texas I have never been treated like that and they lost a very good potential repeat customer.

Each and every one of the gentleman that work at Max Money Pawn were more than helpful and went above and beyond to help me reach my goal. They actually do care and the customer service they provided will never be forgotten as it helped me with more than just being able to pay some seriously past due bills.
