First I thought it was a scam, but no, Euronet really charged me EUR/CHF with 1000 pips more than forex market.

Euronet scams tourists by offering terrible conversion rates and scams locals by destroying heritage sites to place their ATMs. They don't even get city permissions before cutting into centuries old buildings! Euronet is trash and I will NEVER use one of their ATMs! They are doing their level best to ruin everything beautiful in this world.

I went to Prague for a nice little visit, and the historic sights were absolutely beautiful both visually, and architecturally. But I saw the hideous atms and really wandered, why would someone give permission to do this, turns out they didn’t... The city told them they can’t put atms but they do, I really hope someone breaks the atms and steals the money from it, not only for damaging private property but also scamming me and my friends a few thousand Czech crowns.

Euronet's ridiculous and hidden ATM fees are the only thing that ruined my vacation. Thanks! Keep scamming people.... Society loves you.

Oversized extra fee on withdrawal. Looking for local bank ATM’s better.

Do not use their ATMs!! In Venice I withdrew 300 euros and was charged $382 -which amounted to a $45 fee! The set up is very confusing and it went through without showing me what the conversion rate was. A total scam. Always make sure to use a bank ATM when traveling. I consider myself a seasoned traveler and I have used ATMs throughout Europe and I never experienced a rip off like I did with this company. After researching them on the Internet, I found that their earnings were extremely high this year and stock prices have gone up. Is there any doubt why??

I had the misfortune of using an ATM of this company at Milan Airport last month. Not only did they charge a $2.95 euro transaction fee, but they gave me a bogus exchange rate that overcharged my account by 10% of the withdrawn amount. Absolutely no warning on any of the screens that the additional charge would be made. Let the traveler beware.

Almost all ATMs in Porto, Portugal are run by these scammers. They even charge extra for taking out euros from euro account of home bank! AVOID. Search for Multibanco ATM instead when in Porto.
