To say we had a great experience with Eric’s team would be an understatement. They were exceptional from start to finish. Also, I tend not to leave reviews unless they are truly deserving. Early on, we were in discussion with both Eric’s team and a large bank…it took the large bank 4 days to respond to our initial discussion and more like 40mins for Eric’s team to follow up with next steps. This set the tone for the entire process. We avoided all of the many horror stories I had heard from friends about the financing process when buying a home, largely because of the quality and diligence of Eric’s team. Highlights -Speed of response: Eric and team were always willing and able to connect on anything throughout the process - even in the evenings when it was easier for me to call, given work. -Info Collection: Everything was collected digitally, speeding up the entire process -Info Processing: Eric’s team was on top of where we were in getting documents and really helpful in updating our to-dos as well as where we needed follow up documents -Interest Rate: Eric was able to lock us into a rate that was ~75bps (0.75%) less than what the competing large bank had discussed with us initially and ~50bps lower than another large bank we contacted. -Hand-holding: Complications arise through the process, and the closer you get towards the end, the more critical it is that you have a partner who can adapt and respond to changes so you can close on time - whether that be closing credits or bills of sale for furniture from the sellers…Eric’s team, particularly Adam, made these last minute changes in financing seamless. Closing: Because much of the process was done digitally, we were able to do some of the closing documents online. This meant closing was faster and easier than I imagine it would have been otherwise. Check ups: Eric and team continue to check in on us to make sure everything went smoothly even after closing.
