Epic Funding W First St, Fort Myers

I had very bad experience with Epic Funding, they are very rude and don’t process properly. Think once before doing mortgage or refinance process with them.

Do not use for VA loans. No attention to detail, you are just another packet of paper. Great rates and very responsive so not a one star. When they sent me closing disclosures and told me to just sign them, and they'd change the numbers to be accurate later, but closing was in just three days. The whole point of disclosures are so the buyer knows what they are getting. When I changed my mind and went with someone else, the general manager sent me two nasty emails and told me to send all my friends and family elsewhere. So, that is what I am doing, look elsewhere.

Really appreciated how responsive they are at Epic Finanacing. I'm in Virginia and they are located in Florida, which initially made me nervous, but after speaking to them (they answer the phone!) it set my mind at ease. I had a bunch of questions about my refi and they answered all of them very quickly, even on the weekend. They also provided paperwork quickly. The rates are excellent too. I highly recommend them--it's hard to find this level of service.

Amazingly responsive and attentive to your mortgage. A breeze to work with compared to the big banks for mortgages. They work so fast!

— CAUTION — I imagine that this team MAY be able to process a very simple application, but admittedly do not have the expertise to advise on loan options, ability to interprets income documentation, and seem to lose track of PII - personal information. As other reviewers state, some resources are rude and unwilling to pick up the phone because they are “busy”. Some will ask you to spend money and then back track that they didn’t known that they were wrong. The GM does not follow up and requests to address issues are met with a response that leadership does not talk with clients. Deals do not always work. But there is little room in the market for rudeness, lack of expertise, non ownership of mistakes, and very poor communication. Choose one if they MANY other qualified options.

I am a local Realtor and have used Epic Funding on several transactions. You will not find a lower rate anywhere. Best mortgage company!

Holy cow! Their PR skills are horrible. Rude, acted like they have to time for you, obviously don't want your business, and one of their loan officers just hung up on me when I wanted a land loan. "We don't handle land loans, thank you *click*)". I tried calling back to explain and ask questions but they wouldn't answer my number.

Extremely impressed with this great team of people. Very straight forward, honest, and fast moving was able to close my loan in a few weeks im very picky and can be critical, so it takes alot to impress me , and i was very impressed will do business with them again

Excellent service, most of the processing is done electronically, very friendly and professional staff, and finally great rates!!
